@@salamisumo2 when starting a business you should expect to take losses for at least two years before turning a profit. I'm sure they're prepared for that this time around
Vinnie Mac did good thus far with this rebooted project. The Jersey are Fire, the Helmets are Dope AF and there is genuine work being put in this league.
Wow so close to the first Overtime in XFL history. Glad this game started at 9 pm eastern. It was so weird that a few weeks ago the XFL had a game at 7 pm and that was the same time NXT Takeover happened. I don't know if it was Oliver Luck or Vince that pretty much put XFL and NXT in the same time slot on the same day.
@@isaacgonzo yeah that's what I meant. Elimination Chamber ended 2 hours earlier while this XFL game was still going on. The last time there was a main event it was NXT and I guess there was an XFL game going on as well in primetime.
I use to use Josh Johnson alot in Madden 10 . He was a couple points slower than Michael Vick , less accuracy , but far more durable and less prone to getting injured when sacked or scrambling.
@@scottchua58888 pretty sure he's talking about the game the Wildcats had against the Defenders. That was a blowout. Then this is the come from behind game he was talking about.
The level of parity in the XFL is amazing! We get good to great games every week. I hope this league stays at 8 teams for a good while then expands. Don’t pull a USFL, and expand too fast. Eight teams is enough.
@Jason Tidd I agree, let's see what is the financial situation of the League after the first season. Having said that, eventually they need more team like every serious League. I mean this is for the love of Football. Long Live the XFL.
nah I want to see this thing expand. there's a lot of cities who are yearning for their own team already. I know my state has a team but I would love an xfl team here.
The environment of these games is electric. XFL is the bomb! Are there the best players in the world out there? No. Do these guys LOVE football, and do they leave it all on the field? Heck yes they do. So much fun to watch this product, I'm enjoying it thoroughly!
This game and most games have been better than watching any and all Lions, Raiders, Bucs, Giants, Jets games from the NFL. I'm sure there are more but only the intelligent ones well understand
@@cameronsantiago3155 - Bucs? I would rather watch grass grow in the middle of July outside my house in Vegas. But if you're a Bucs fan, ok, I can see it then. Titans were boring until the playoffs. I'm a Bears fan and at times those games were so horrible that I actually vacuumed and cleaned house when I watch them play. da Bears!!!! Bear Down 4 lyfe
That sidearm-throw from Josh Johnson is incredible. Tight window. That's an NFL throw. If he continues to play well, he will be on an NFL roster this season. Probably not for the veteran minimum.
He can get the same money in XFL and be a star in the league, rather than sit on bench as a backup with little to no play time. At his age I think the XFL is a better fit.
Props to the Vipers for turning their program around after a shaky start, and everyone knows we have our share of problems, but the Wildcats showed they had heart last evening. Makes me proud to be a fan.
There's something I feel dirty about and appreciate immensely at both a NFL level and a highschool/college level about players jumping into the stands with fans. Not a lot of fans this game, but given both teams had 1 win coming into this its understandable. Still a fun game though, and reminds people whether its NFL football or XFL, 2 teams can produce fantastic matchups with any record.
My Vioers blew the game. Running the clock out before halftime is so stupid. Your only taking 20 seconds off the clock and they have timeouts. They played to not lose instead of win. They needed to keep play and try to at least get in field goal range. That changed the mindset of both sides of the ball.
@whatever3210 yeah It always baffles me that places like Portland Oregon or Louisville Kentucky don't have professional teams they are like can't miss locations for expansion. also though texas has a lot of teams Austin and San Antonio both would also be great spots for a team. just look at the San Antonio Commanders home games in the AAF they were always packed.
That is a very small stadium. We are kinda spoiled here. There’s so many different sporting events going on. Basketball, baseball then comes football in Los Angeles.
Love them getting into the stands. I think they should relocate some teams, reduce that sideline camera time, and experiment with more trick plays and that would make it even better.
You know it sucks that no one is really talking about the XFL bing cancelled due to the corona virus. Besides the NCAA tourney, this is the worst this that happened in my opinion👎🏻🙁
As a Wildcats fan, who else thinks they should play their home game at Sofi Stadium in 2022? Edit: I'm going to miss the Los Angeles Wildcats. Thanks alot rams and chargers
I watched these games and they are far more exciting than college football. I don’t know why they keep putting teams in LA. They should have put this team in San Jose, San Francisco or Sacramento. This was a great game and no one showed up to watch. The XFL has great fans in Houston, St Louis, Dallas ambit need to make sure they’re putting teams where people care and will show up. L.A. already has enough pro sports teams.
Why is nobody mentioning that this video leaves off the entire first part of the game, including Josh Johnson's first pass on the first play of the game being intercepted and Tampa scoring a field goal off of it? And this is an official ESPN video?
i want to see xfl put football team in hungry states like 1..Mississippi 2.Oregon' 3.Utah 4. Alabama 5. Oklahoma 6.Kansas 7.Kentucky 8.Nebraska 9.Arkansas 10. South Carolina 11. Virginia 12. Connecticut 13. North Dakota
