I expected more of an hourly extended forecast, and not "it's going to rain." "Experts" are not what they used to be.

Back in the old days at Big 13, the "Experts" carried the Seal of Approval of the American Meteorological Society (AMS).

@@collette9008 How many people remember that 11 PM News weather forecast in January 1977 where Roy Leep predicted snow for the Tampa Bay Area??? No other local weather forecast did. The following morning in Largo (Pinellas County) there was snow on our driveway. Tampa was in chaos because of the ice and snow.

All these local weather guessers @ 8, 9, 13, 10 and 28 have no idea if it will rain as much as they forecast. This was a complete non-event.

I'm good with our 1". More days of that amount. Denise Phillips' forecast shows us getting 3-5ish". We're too close to Sarasota for me to be complacent...and Palm Harbor area got 7", yesterday. Ugh. I wish it were easier to forecast these storms more accurately. Ok, stepping down from my box. 😂😂
