I love my Tamron lens. I wish that this would be available for Canon RF. So many lenses coming out for the Sony e-mount. Great review. Thank you for the tips too. All the best.
50-300 or 50-400? Forget cost -- Which would you get for travel and including no compromises? At first blush -- seems to me if you have a Sony A7RV with 60+mp you can crop to get to the 400 range easily with a 300mm and generally that is plenty for professional work. Am I missing something?
@@NEILAMALONE they must have read my comment.🤣 Now they just need to get on the RF mount. But I have a feeling wish isn't going to happen any time soon. 😢
@@edc641 300-400mm is not worth double the weight for me. Different strokes for different folks! I primarily use photography for travel, so that's just too big of a lense for me to carry all day.
@@duvalpenny100 That's very true. The 50-300 looks like a very nice lens and if 300mm is enough there're really no reasons to get the 50-400. I already own the 50-400 and I personally got it for the zoom range and the ability to reach 400mm. Before I bought it I was hauling around the 200-600. I also own the 28-200 for occasions when 200mm is enough. Tamron's really spoiling us with options!
@@edc641 I do commend the 50-400 though. I think it's the best telephoto up to 400mm. It's still on my radar despite the weight. That versatility is insane
