Dr Goh was also Education Minister. With hindsight it is clear limiting to a small % of each cohort that can go to a local university was a big mistake. Later on even "thinking" became an issue on local schools. Why?

If GKS wanted a higher and higher standard of living why was GDP growth the main economic KPI used by PAP. This was a big mistake.

Why did Dr. Goh not tell LKY he was using the wrong economic KPI. LKY focused on GDP instead of productivity growth? Only sustained productivity growth will lead to real wage growth and a higher standard of living. The rest is history. Singapore is still not a First World country in terms of standard of living.

What "miracle"? After 5+ decades Singapore is till not a First World Country in terms of standard of living and productivity. Were his the Swiss Standard of Living promised by PAP over twenty years ago.
