In this video I show you how to assemble a Tandemkross Kraken with the B.Y.O.K. kit. So if you bought the Kraken and are not using a donor pistol then this video is for you. Now you don't need to hunt around to find out how to install this part of that part. I hope it helps! Excellent video. It certainly got my juices going to try a build. My problem is my fat fingers would definitely add a level of difficulty that could send my frustration into orbit. I’ll watch your video a few more times before I decide. Looking forward to your next video. Well done.

I have watched your videos on the SW22 Victory and the Kraken. What is the better gun? I have completed my SW22 with all the TK parts and want to build one of these. Thanks for the good work on your videos!

I started to assembly mine and was ready to toss it in the lake so I called tandemkross and they are going to let me return my parts and order the fully assembled kracken. Now I’ve gotta order the volquartsen upper. I also have a vortex viper to mount also. Nice video

I'm designing my own frame that's based off the Tandem Kross but the difference is that it is going to use the P322 magazines so we'll be able to have a 20 or even 25 round capacity. I wanted something I can keep in my bag when I go camping with a silencer.

Excellent work on the video. This is a much needed video. Appreciate the shout out but the credit goes to the great work you did of articulating all the details and putting it into one place. Tandemkross delivered a much needed product with this complete lower and Volquartsen kills it with the LLV upper and bolt. Looking forward to your follow up review once you get some range time. Just put my Kraken Lower on my Volquartsen Mamba X! Thanks for your help with the trick getting the upper to seat properly on the lower, super helpful. Came out absolutely gorgeous! Ready for Steel Challenge!!

Pretty new to guns and never owned a pistol and have been thinking about a Ruger Mark IV 22/45 Lite and saw a lot of videos on the Kraken. I mainly was thinking about purchasing a Tandemkross race gun but after watching your video it is definitely something I know I can do and that's with no real knowledge about all the parts in a pistol. Patience and small hands look to be key. Your video was outstanding. I'm going to price all the parts and do a comparison. There's no real rush because every time I go on Tandemkross's website they're sold out. Again, thank you for such a great video.

I have the same upper and the kraken. I can’t get the upper to snap in. What spring are you pushing on on? Your hand is in the way I can’t see it. Thanks

You push with a punch (towards the front of the pistol) on the bar which extends from the lower, up through the bolt and the upper. The bolt return spring keeps the bar pushed backwards, and by pushing on the back of the bar, it compresses that spring forward and allows the bar to move into position and the upper and lower can go together
