Tang's Story: Fighting COVID-19 Vaccine Misinformation in Laos [Bru Language] 

Tang was 7 months pregnant when she started thinking about the COVID-19 vaccine.
She was worried the vaccine could have harmful side effects for her unborn child.
“I was afraid at first, of being paralysed or weakening my baby,” Tang says.
A local nurse advised Tang that the vaccination would provide extra protection for her and the baby.
“It’s fine and safe for us,” she says.
Tang is speaking out about vaccine misinformation, as part of the ‘Vaccine safe, access for all’ campaign, which is supported by the Australian Humanitarian Partnership (AHP) COVID-19 Vaccine Support Project.
