I like the first method (no seed phrase) because the backup is protected by the access code and you would have to lose all three cards at the same time to lose your crypto. Although I own two other hardware wallets that use 12 or 24 seed words, it's an added expense to buy a metal backup and they are in human readable form, which has always seemed like a risk to me. If you store a metal (or paper) backup of your seed words with a trusted friend or relative, there is always the chance that somebody might find them by accident, take a photo or write them down, and your crypto would be gone. If they find the backup Tangem card, even if they download the app it's protected by the access code. Just make sure to NEVER store two cards together. I totally agree and this is why even after years buying crypto on a centralized exchange I could not get myself to use a hardware wallet until Tangem came out. I think if you pick a passcode that you have 100% confidence you couldn't possibly forget, then I understand you can also remove the option to have it reset, in which case your only security vulnerability would be losing all three cards.

Hello, Friends, I have a Ledger and would like to buy also the Tangem. Can I set the Tangem so that it functions like a "parallel" to the Ledger? It supports most of the altcoins, but if you have something specific in mind, it’s better to visit the Tamgem website. They have a list of all supported coins with a search bar there.

If you are not planning to use it with the seed phrase, there is no need to upgrade. Cuz, basically it’s the same wallets, but the new one has updated design and option to import seed phrase

It’s basically the same wallet. if you have version one and not going to use seed phrase - there is no need to update

I want to create my tangent wallet with the seed phrase from my Exodus wallet. What will happen with my Exodus wallet as a result? - will the funds be gone on my Exodus wallet? will my Exodus wallet still be active with the same phrase? - will I then have two wallets (Exodus and Tangem) with identical seed phrases? No, it’s not a problem. But you’ll be able access THETA only from Exodus for now.

I actually answered this question on the channel. You will be able to use the wallet in case of bankruptcy, or even if app will be deleted from the App Store

I hoping someone can answer my question here: I just had my Tangem 3 cards a week ago and it's all up and running now. But my question is, say I lost my phone where I have all my cyptos, I can retrieve them all from the cards? if there's always changes like crypto transaction in the phone that I have lost, how does the cards can have all the copies identical to the phone that have lost? Is the phone and your cards sync together?

Yes, you can easily restore access to your wallet. And here is how it works. 1) All your crypto is stored on a blockchain. It’s like having a bank vault, and only you can access it using a digital key. 2) Tangem cards are digital keys that provide you access to your assets. 3) The phone is only the interface that displays information. There is actually nothing stored on the phone. And there is no sync between cards and phone.

Thx What's the difference with tangem and Trezor wallet now?...they're the same?.. Hello I Bought the Tangem 2.0 3 cards and I accidentally clicked on create wallet and I was not able to to get a seed phrase,. Is there a way to start all over and generate 12 or 24 seed phrase just in case I loose all 3 cards ?? Thanks

Yes, you can reset you cards in the app settings. And then setup your wallet using Seed Phrase. WARNING ⚠️ You’ll need to transfer all your funds to some other wallet first. Otherwise you’ll lose all your funds.

At the point before seed phrase generation, and after you wrote it down - you have to turn off the airplane more to continue the setup of the wallet

You’ll need to import old wallet to the new phone in the app, and then you can continue using your crypto. As long as you remember access code or have at least two card, that’s not a problem

So you just need to press add new wallet on your phone. You’ll find there option to import an existing wallet.

If you store your assets on Tangem, they are already on a blockchain. But I’d import wallet on a new phone, before delete the app from the old one

Thank you 🙏🏼 for the videos! Very helpful! I recently set up my 3 cards. During the set up it prompted me to scan all three cards. I set up the access code. Card #1 I can access. However card #2 & #3 when I try to use them, it’s states it’s the wrong access code. Where did I go wrong?
