It was amazing how you changed the meaning of the song by showing the original ship did happen, and she wouldn't say she is in love because not fear of acepting her feeling but because she already lost.

To be honest I wasn't a fan of the idea of the poly idea until I realized. It doesnt have to be a triad. By that I mean, I was stuck thinking of the poly as the only way I've seen it shown. That being a closed circuit. Like if a dates b and c, b and c are also dating. But no, that's not necessarily the case. I can't see Cass and Eugene dating, but I can see them both dating Rapz at the same time.
I like the cutaway following the flower from the window to the ground, and using the guards as the backup singers is clever. Cassandra’s expressions at 0:37 and 1:08 matches the vocal intensity very well. You did this song justice, and I’d love to see this scene full animated. Keep up the great work, Eva, and stay frosty!

Cass so obviously was in love with Raps, I could write an essay and cite shit from every episode and scene with her of how she was a lesbian and in love with Raps, shes my fave character and I love Raps w Eugene sm but my gay heart cant help but like Cassunzel as well. I really just want it to specifically have been canon that Cass loved Raps romantically even though it was unrequited
I just learned about this pairing a few weeks ago and saw a moment where Cass gave this heart melting smile at Raps as she swung on her hair from a tree (the episode where Raps lost her memory and was basically reliving moments from the movie), and I screamed, "WHAT? THAT'S A LOVE FACE. CASS IS IN LOVE." Having Cassandra leave the castle at the end of the series almost seemed like she was leaving so her heart wouldn't keep pining for Rapunzel.

@@Montesama314 Exactly that about her leaving, too. Besides her needing to go find herself and Im sure her sticking around Corona after everything would be awkward, but she knows that she and Raps will never be like she wants, and if you love someone you gotta let them go (I actually started a fic a while back just delving into how Cass truly felt imo and my own headcanons but i only wrote like 3 pages lol) so it was the best thing for her to do. Plus I see that as why she said “I love you Raps.” She doesnt know if/when she will see her again after that. Confessing her love as she did before she left was the way to go, but Raps took it platonically and apparently so did half the audience of this show lmao. I think Raps had some feelings for Cass too but didn’t really realize, and she loveS Eugene more romantically
@@sorryihaverehearsal5764 I’m not sure Cass is lesbian, I don’t really think she was romantically involved with Rapunzel. Just because she smiled at her a couple times and gave her hugs, doesn’t mean she’s in love, they’re just friends, friends have non romantic feelings for each other, but they still love each other on a non-romantic level.
This is wonderfully done but not all “I love you’s” have to be romantic. Do Raps and Cass love each other? Heck yea, but I mean Rap’s is married now lol. Love comes in many forms (and I’m biased because I’m “that” person when it comes to canon ships)
