Ruth and her brother Philip stay with their overly strict aunt while their parents are overseas. Ruth runs away and learns about the Good Shepherd and His love for lost sheep just like her. Later, when a friend is seriously hurt in an accident and dies, Ruth faces many questions about death. This delightful film will challenge people of all ages to reflect upon life and its ultimate meaning.

This is the kind of film children today should be watching, instead of making it normal to see fighting and bloodshed and sexualising them so young. Then wrapping it all up in a super hero film. Really enjoyed this. Some jem's of wisdom too. Thank you 💛🕊️

This is a movie I need to be watching! I tried to watch a kids movie because the adults movies are "Horrid". Couldn't watch the kids movie because if the language and gay sexual suggestion. Prayers!

@@kamama9109 My favorite book by Patricia St. John is Star of Light. The story is written using her experiences as a missionary to Morocco. It's a beautiful, moving story. I cry at each chapter even though I've read it to people at least 10 times! It's that good!

Sweet Sweet movie. Wasn't sure of I'd like it at 1st BUT developed into a good salvation movie. Tender & sweet seen through a child's eyes.

This is one of my ever so loved favorites saved into my dreamkeeper😂init just the most sweetest movie? 😂I love the way the church priest and Tandy the Shepard talk😊ever so tender and gentle they are😂and I love the children Ruth and her brother and new friend Terry play in the beautiful woods. 😊what a special movie😂❤

This version has a few scenes missing from the original that had both Mr Tandy and Robinson open a Bible with Ruth to Luke's Gospel. Oddly they also changed Terry's voice.
