Dear Miriam and Leonardo, I have been watching your videos for a couple of weeks now and I love them. I get really inspired by the way you explain tango. I started dancing tango 12 weeks ago, a beginner😊. I am learning a lot from your videos from techniques, figures and etiquettes. I have watched a lot of videos about how to “behave” at a Milonga. I have been to a couple of Milongas and to be honest as a beginner, in this case the leader, it can be overwhelming. The videos where you guys explain about Milonga are very helpful. I was wondering if there is a video where I can see the two of you dancing in the Milonga amongst other couples couples. Thank you for the great videos.
Is it comfortable for a follower to slide on leaders right thigh and try to go aaaall way around? Is there a variant of doing same sacada without stepping so deep into followers territory?
I would say that is dangerous on a follower's back step because they would tend to trip over the foot. That is why, unlike sacadas to the follower's front or side step, he emphasises the need to make contact with the thigh, rather than simply step close to the trailing foot.
