@@fia894lemme fix that for you "there are only *four* demons in this world, the rest are victims" (I edited it to four since there is douma and kokushibu)
Tanjiro is absolutely amazing and kindhearted Main Character. He's sympathetic but not naive to his enemies as he truly understands their pain and suffering
Dude my brother nd dad where watching it and I came in at this point. Saw this whole scene and it made me wanna watch it. Knowing the story made the scene 10× better. I even teared up lol, ya ik I'm a bitvh hahaha but it was so good
Rui was really misunderstood, the hunger and hate controlling him he wasn't knowing what he was doing, missing his family he did the "pretend family" game but it wasn't how he wanted to be. This fight was especially sad because Rui was actually a sweet, frail child when he was human, Muzan giving him the opportunity to be stronger, but the worst part is when his mother apologizes him for not giving him a strong, healthy body when she died.
@@benjaminnorthgrave9174 Akaza vs Rengoku was predictable for me, even if I wasn't spoiled by anyone. I knew that a single Hashira can't take upper three. However I was sure that Tanjiro is gonna clap Rui, but he couldn't in the end, so that fight was the key factor in showing us that how weak still Tanjiro was, compared to even lower moons. Plus this theme "Kamado Tanjiro no uta" in the ending of episode 19, ahhh what a moment.
When the spirits of Rui's parents said, "We'll go wherever you go, even if it's to Hell," it was a real gut punch. Everything about the rap up of that whole arc was great. I really love this song and everything surrounding it. Also, the brief glimpses that arc gave us of baby Nezuko!
Y'ALL HAVE NO IDEA HOW MANY TIMES I WATCHED IT OVER AND CRIED MY EYES OFF..!! THE DIRECTOR HATES US BRUH..! (during the fight I seriously said, "what a cinematography…!" Yep, I was dumb)
Honestly you should definitely read the manga, it's awesome that you realise the arcs after Season 2 will get better and break the internet once animated. But if you haven't read it, then I won't give spoilers just in case. It's more than incredible as it is one of the best new gen animes ever in my opinion. I think you'll be surprised when reading it as it has the greatest fight but godliest one you ever seen, you might wanna read the manga if interested as it'll take years for the next arcs after Season 3 to come out.
There's one thing besides their astounding animations that Ufotable excel at. It's their ability to combine God tier ost and their budgetless animations! Hats off to you Ufotable and the animators that work behind this masterpiece!
Animation isn't determined by budget, it's thanks to the hard work of the animators. The only section that probably uses budget is the CGI team and the traditional keyframe drawers. But yeah the entire sequence was fantastic
@@fabulouskiller1541 Found out about this series because of Fate series. ufotable is really great. I hope they do better next time and pay taxes to avoid lawsuits. They deserve their current popularity though, Fate and Demon Slayer has the best animations.

But the best things about memories, is that even if the person who became a memory is gone, you can always remember the great times you had with them. All those times they made you smile, and laugh, all those times they were there for you. Those memories will stay with you forever, no matter how sad it gets, you can use those memories to push you forward in life. Remember that they’re always with you, even if only in those memories and special moments they’re still there for you to help at every turn and corner. just by remembering the times you had with them, it can push you to overdone the hardest boundary’s.
I'm not going to lie. I watched Demon Slayer as I was having a tough time in life. And when this song started up, I teared up a little just because of the memories and the scene
To be honest, I really did feel bad for Rui, All he wanted was to restart a family again. The most saddest part was when Rui's mother, died saying to him "Im sorry for not giving you a stronger body" and that made him realize, he screwed up and when Master Muzan came into his life. He just wanted to be loved again.
@@Refl1ct1on the "good side" in the bible has killed millions more than the "bad side". if you want to become a good person reject the bible instead of accepting it.
"The kindest hearts have felt the most pain." Tanjiro is such a kind protagonist, but he has been through a lot, his family was killed, his sister became a demon, he's had to kill demons, he's had to watch his friends die and many other things I won't say due to spoilers ;) Btw the quote isn't mine, have a great day!
Everyone went through hardships, kanao was abused until she lost emotions then she was sold, Genya and sanemi lost all their siblings to their abused demon mother, shinobu lost her sister, giyu lost sabito and his sister, inosuke lost his mother, zenitsu didn't have a good life because he was a coward and a cry baby, himejima was sent to jail because of the children he saved, muichiro lost his parents and twin brother and lost his memories, mitsuri was bullied because she was very strong and ate a lot, obanai, was trapped in his all girl's family and was close to being eaten by a demon because he was a sacrifice, kyojuro lost his mom, and if I remember correctly uzui wasn't the best at his job as a ninja
I started this anime three weeks ago. And i have to say i just love the character of tanjiro. His empathy is out of this world. He has empathy for someone trying to kill him
@@sidnotrespond6947 he did no damage lmao he was just as strong when he fought giyu and they did that to show the smartness alongside the power of the moons and also the power of hashiras ofc
This fight scene was one of the most intense ones in the anime so far. It showed a duel between a person trying to save others from certain death, and another that just wants a family. It was a remarkable scene, and it showed the ideals of two individuals with very different mindsets *and then Giyuu comes in and one shots Rui*
@Blushing Saikawa bro , im not , he can just do the thread cage he did to tanjiro and he will cut her into pieces , since shinobu has no strength to cut them.
lmao I remember listening to this on the morning of my driving test. i have anxiety and i have severe hand tremors especially when i'm nervous so i had to listen to this song to bring out my inner confidence. it was a very cold and rainy day as well but I aced it! and i blast gurenge on full volume through my earphones on my way back home. definitely one of my happiest moment of last year.
Tanjiro vs Rui remains as my favourite scene in the entire series, even after all this time. It feels like a protagonist actually cutting down one obstacle after another to attain one specific goal. UFOtable goes hard on the music and theatrics, giving me chills every time I rewatch it. No other scene throughout the show does that for me, not even Rengoku vs Akaza or Uzui vs Gyutaro
this was an amazing fight scene and honestly so emotional. i feel so bad for rui and what he had to go through as a child (being weak and all.) i’m glad though that he reunited with his family when he was defeated and he truly seemed happy, one of the greatest moments in demon slayer
@@Luca.Wattis I’m pretty sure Tanjiro would have to be rank kinoe (the highest rank), kill 50 demons, and kill one of the 12 kizuki to become a hashira
Props to this guy this almost made me cry cause i love demon slayer and the theme inbetween tanjiro and rui's fight was one of the best part's especially when tanjiro starts using hinokami kagura
Spoiler warning: I cried when this was played at Mugen Train (the part when Tanjiro had to leave his family in his dream). Even though he wanted to stay in his beautiful dream, he chose to wake up to his own painful reality. It just showed that tanjiro knew what he already lost and knew he couldn't go back. He faced such a painful reality and this song was all about it.
This song is so beautiful, it really makes me want to cry. It gives a feeling of peace, protection and hope. The demon slayer OST is absolutely amazing
This song gets me crying everytime.. But this episode is just amazing, it includes sadness, anger, strength, family bonds and happines.. Rui really was misunderstood..
This fight was literally so beautiful. I’m glad it lasted a longer time than other fights since it got to explain Tanjiros father more, Rui’s backstory was so sad. I couldn’t help but cry at his death. Especially when he thought he was going to hell and yet his parents were still gonna be there for him. Rui is truly a amazing demon in the series.
1:37 I remember having chills when this started, man this series is just getting better and better Edit: wow… can’t believe this was almost a year ago, I kept thinking this comment of mine was like a few months ago. I’m excited for season 3, but I do know one thing; nothing will ever top this emotional excitement of a moment.
Literally, I'm really proud of KNY not only because the series as a whole is A-S tier anime, but because it manages to strongly compete with other animes even more popular such as Attack on titan , Dragon Ball and Naruto, having just two damn seasons and a movie..., Lol, that's very little compared to those
I was on the edge of my seat, goosebumps all over, crying, because of all the emotion, animation and music score in this fight. Kudos to the voice actors and animators. 👺
"The kindest hearts have felt the most pain." I really relate to that. I was bullied from 4th grade to 9th grade but always took it in and said nothing. I lost my grandmother at 12 (I'm 17 almost 18 now so I'm fine now, dw) I've been rejected and gotten my heart broken 3 times. Lost many "friends" But here I am, aiming to keep going and one day study animation in Japan. And I won't stop. I just need my best friend, someone who is willing to hear me out and help me, and sticks with me through thick and thin without ever letting me go. She's the best thing that's ever happened to me. I don't need a girlfriend, I just need my Nezuko (her)
this song is such a booster to the emotional effect of the scene, the first time hearing this and seeing the fight gave me the biggest chills any kind of show has ever given me, cried the whole time too. It's just so god damn beautiful. edit: hell, i'm even crying while typing this comment while listening to this
I appreciate how they show the effect of Muzans evil in so many of the most fragile souls and if they were once strong broke the spirit to persevere instead of the fast route of becoming a demon so deep love how anime or even great forms of animated art in general reflects reality.
This scene... Everything is perfect.... Animation, fight, song, voice, sad backstory and literally everything perfect.... Due to entropy in this world no one Or not a thing can be 100 % perfect.... But this episode 19 is perfect.. No other words to define the perfection... Enough to make any one cry
Rui's story was so sad.... I am reminded about it everytime I listen to this song. It's only an amazing one but also a sad one. It brings so many emotions to me everytime I listen to it. So beautiful and sad. I LOVE it
Even how many times I've watched the scene, it still gives me chills. The soundtrack was goosebumping, especially when the animation pops off while the soundtrack is goosebumping.
This whole entire scene was a piece of art, it had me attached to my seat. I COULD NOT MOVE. The animation, the emotion, man, this show is a master piece!
Me encanta este tema, porque me hace sentir que después de tanto tiempo batallando y luchando por salir adelante, finalmente lo conseguí y estoy viendo ese futuro que antes no había visto
This song is beatiful❤ Whenever I listen to it, i feel like crying yet I feel like smiling I feel inner peace The feeling is like a small flame on a match
