Birds of Prey was an abomination. So much power was taken away from those women being transferred from the comic to the big screen... I'm still pissed about Orphan... She's fucking AMAZING! But nah, just have her swallow a diamond. Ignore the fact that she can take on pretty much countless enemies. Oh, and lets have her be relatively normal. Lets not give any hope that a child raised in a gruesome, and brutal fashion, can take that horror, and forced combat training, and do some real good with it. Fuck modern comic movies. They have no heart. Unless there's a Reynolds involved... And honestly, I''m scared of what part 3 might be, now that it's in the evil mouses gloved hands...

To all those modern day "Knowitalls" who want to beat people over the head at how "Progressive" 2010's were, saying "Wonder Woman" gave us the first comic book lead female movie directed by a woman." No, Tank Girl has that honour. Why not show this movie and its director the respect it deserves and acknowledge that. And if there is another one before this, let me know and I will praise that too.

I just watched this for the first time, and although its true that it drags on some scenes, it also goes all in when it doesn't, plus Tank Girl is really charismatic all the way, this movie didn't deserve the hate that it got. Still, i hope they do a good job with the reboot, if it actually comes out.
