Mano, Tanki was like therapy for me, because when I started playing, in 2014 (at 9 years old) I was really in a difficult situation, because here in Brazil the economic crisis was at its peak and I was also suffering bullying in school, so Tanki served to make me forget about my daily difficulties and make friends who don't judge me for who I am ... every time the class ended at my school I would almost fly home and have lunch like crazy, just to play Tanki ... thanks for remember me the good part of my life...

Eu tenho um grande sentimento por esse jogo. Basicamente ele fez parte do melhores momentos na minha infância. Lembro da felicidade de pegar uma gold box, comprar m3, fazer um upgrade para m4, comprar kit, juntar cristais etc. Infelizmente só restam lembranças.

I dont agree with the old days. Full drugging was a standard back then. I had a tough time finishing battles to scrimp my crystals into more drugs and stalling my progress for a very long time. The game then was only fun if you had a lot of crystals, or supplies, because you drug, then win more crystals, repeat.

The "kill with skill" was only true because everyone kept drugging to keep each other equal, which costs money especially for noobs. I've played since 2014 and my original account is extremely embarrassing because of the old days, and the crystals.

Guys I remember playing this game for the first time on my father's old pc when I was around 13. Back in the days I used to do parkour in silence map using the ricochet, doing stunts using railgun shots jumping off of high grounds, sniping with my M2 Shaft in Stadium, I had a pretty high rank in the game and I almost done everything that could be done in the game. Now Im 22 and It's been a long time since I logged in this game. When I got in last month I was surprised about how much players use power ups, It's not fun anymore. We used to call them drugers . Anyway this video brought back so much memories and I'm really happy to have found this game 9 years ago. I swear I would looove to come back to play this awesome game but it has changed wayy too much imo :'( thx to everyone who read this

It's the same situation for me. I remember playing with ALL my class in the computer lab back in 2014. Tanki miss me so hard. My favorite RU-vidr was Zlolkill he was doing mlg stuff and awesome videos! But he left 😔 with many other tankers. I still love this game but I can't enjoy it anymore. It's kinda sad how Tanki lost ALOT of players. Thousands were playing in the same time, now its just hundreds. Love you Tanki Online!

I definitely did. My heart was pumping and I tried my best to come up with a strategy to get it based on my surroundings. If it was very crowded around me I would try to climb on top of people lol. If it was sparse where the gold box was gonna drop then I would take cover from other people otherwise they shot and did damage to me before the gold dropped.

Tanmay Mohan even people with money struggle because so many turrets/hull/overdrives are so strong that you get one shot or 100-0 very fast without a chance to do anything, I have mk7 rico/rail and mk7 Vick/hornet on my Colonel acct, and I go into games where a mk5-6 hunter will overdrive me and then flame bird me 100-0, no skill needed and doesn’t even matter if I have almost maxed stuff

@@EpicTheSuperior same situation is with me bro my rank is marshal and i have mk7 fully upgraded smokey mk7 13th upgrade of rail mk7 6th of upgrade rico mk7 gauss i bought gauss yesterday in hulls i have mk7 7th upgrade of viking mk7 9th upgrade of dictator and mk7 wasp i used to catch at least 50-60 gold boxes but due to drones yesterday i caught only 12 i had 270k cry when lockdown may event was happening 5 time gold drops in jug mod people were targeting me i was pissed of and i pissed of so much that i spent all of mu crystals on upgrading rail people with money will never ever tolerate you if strong especially when u r earning well without buying anything from shop

this game was honestly one of the most fun games i’ve ever played and had so much potential to stay at the top, but they started to change things up to much, by adding like robots or sum shit now and like gears that have certain protection instead of just paints, their was too much to buy for to much. Also everyone just abuses power ups in higher level to the point where it isn’t even fun. which leads to smurfing which i ended up doing cuz playing at higher levels started to become hell. Also the kits and stuff were a reasonable price and weren’t blatantly overpowered now you can get m1 and stuff way to early then u shluld be able to. u can’t grind anymore because ppl just buy and them buy gives them an advantage. The game became to money oriented and lost its fun. but it’ll always have a place in my heart. Thank you Tanki for the good times❤️

I just started to tear.... but be happy, and think about that at least we had a good fun time and made our childhood better, and now we have good memories about that... I dont know what does tanki online thinks... in all of their social media platforms, the 99% of the comments is about how dead is the game and why they ruined this legendary game and everyone's childhood.... i've never seen a company before like tanki, who doesn't care about the whole player base and just goin for the money and for the money... why not doin a win-win situation, dont ruin the whole game, and just add some acceptable micro transactions and players love the game. Dev's have money, players love to play the game, and still a good game even after 10 year...10 times more player = 10 times more money, like man what does tanki thinks.....5:18 it was only just a dream.... :,(

I remember once seeing 90,000 active players on Christmas events it was one of the best times. And on Halloween events when Gold Boxes drop rates increased(now they are like supplies). I and my friends used to compete who got more gold boxes on Halloween (remember the scary sound effect of it instead of siren). Normally it used to have 50,000 in the morning online and about 20,000 in the night. But near 2016 it barely reached 20,000 in normal times. They really destroyed my childhood game

Tanki online started the p2w update when they released tanki x, since they paid alot of money for it and thought that it will be famous, but unfortunately there's not alot of players, so they had to recover the lost money from tanki online, the prove is that it started from 2016, and tanki started the p2w and they released tanki x

This game went from 100k players a day to only about 5-7k. I can’t leave this game only because of how much it impacted me. It was my childhood. I remember watching the old tanki vlogs with Semyon. “Hello, Tankers” that part hit me hard. He left because he saw that this game was going to turn to p2w. I’m 14 now and I started playing this game when I was 4.

Wow. Powerful video. All the 2009-2012 mornings I woke up got on my computer just to play this little tank game. Such a small community back then. It is sad they had a great thing and the dev team had to ruin it. Rest easy old tanki - you are missed by us all around the world. ☢️

This video touches my heart. Waking up on the weekends early in the morning just to grind my rank. Getting from school and playing with my friends instead of doing homework.. Still remember getting my first M3, catching my first gold box... Good times. I am glad I spent my childhood on this game. Then after years my friends list started becoming more and more inactive. Usernames that used to be green every day became grey. Now each and every one of us goes down a different, very unique path in life. If any of my Tanki Online friends watch this video and find my lost comment down in this comment section, hello again, I hope you are well and I wish you a bright future. i started playing in 2013 when i was 7 :( i remember the old v-log guy and when you could make maps (i just realised its still there) who remembers when almost everyone played with hornet? :D, now nobody plays it cuz of the overdrives :(

@@Ringy345XXX the reason there aren't any secret rooms anymore is because they stopped doing ''the game'' event. I dont know when was the last time they did it, maybe 1 or 2 years ago, but they used to do it twice a year (at christmas and on tanki's birthday, if im not mistaken) and the secret rooms were part of these events because there would be clues in the rooms. the game made the 2 festivities even better simply because there were secret rooms, so even players who didnt participate in ''the game'' could explore them.
