Like you said, the disparity on healers vs tanks is night and day. It is why I was not bothered with Luocha as much as the introduction of Fu xuan. More units down line can have field or ways to heal side from Luocha, but having tank reducing much dmg or providing a more frequent shield is spiking the power creep for what must be better quicker. Now nothing on the character looks or story relevance of the following characters, but my biggest issues were Fu Xuan. Sparkle, and Aventurine. By allowing already 1 tank to provide basically at base 50% effect res can only imply better version in later patches. It will get to point you can easily access 100% effect res (not counting gallagher shenanigans) or enemies will ignore effect res in future that will just harm us other ftp players that are implied to have glass cannon hyper carries or decent chunk of limited units already. On one hand, its nice to have busted sustains to make ur limited pulls feel better, but it sucks for others that dont just want to pull for that meta and ease of beating endgame without relic min/maxing or other forms of rng.

This is the thing I said back with Huohuo, when honeymoon phase was strong with her. Yes. She looks as Luocha upgrade because she buffs and gives er (pretty rare thing), but she still suffers from the same issues as him, as far as healers go. Which is that she doesn't have any true one shot prevention, which is something that ironically Bailu (standard) does have. Does it mean that she and Luocha are worse than Bailu, absolutely not. It just means that both of them (Luocha and Huohuo) feel like bait sustains so far. Especially in a game that keeps bloating their enemies more and more to the point that playing a healer as your solo sustain, might prove to be gacha itself compared to throwing preservation and turning off your brain. Current healers just don't feel that worth it to me, especially because this game loves powercreep (they may balance things out with new relics or new shiny supports, but at the end of the day, you will rarely ever want to pull for anyone on their rerun unless you already had them and invested in them), and whatever healer ends up coming out, will be made with current content in mind (which is the content that is precisely bad for current healers).

The reason shielders are better than healers is simple: why heal when you can take reduced or just straight up no damage

Shielders definitely more valuable then healer sense even if you heal them if they re almost or 1 shot you your run over maybe someday we'll get healer that heals ally's per action they take enemy action included in heals to ally's but definitely would recommend Shielder over a healer as day 1 player
