The Warhammer Community Team have just announced how tanks and vehicle stats are changing for Warhammer 40k 10th Edition - and it’s a massive improvement.

I’m not sure - this is really about making tanks feel worthwhile, so hopefully GW realise that points increases only take away from what they’re trying. But we’ll see 🤞🏻

No argument here. I always thought it felt slightly "off" that even a basic unit could wound a tank.

Is realistic considering that a soldier with a ATGM can easily damage a tank However , that is the problem , *is realistic* , and we don't really need that amount of realism in WH40K

Yes true, but i feel that he is more referring to lasguns, boltguns and shurikens etc being able to knock wounds off a landraider for example

@@colonelturmeric558 That's why I stopped playing after 8th edition. My imperial guard where able to kill even landraiders with concentrated fire in a couple of turns. Nowadays I just play 5th of 7th edition.

I'd really prefer them going back to using armor value and the old wound roll scaling. Wound inflation, S16 warbosses and bolters wounding T7 on 5+ just feels stupid.

Personally I like infantry better, and am not looking forward to my 90% infantry army being curb stomped by 10th edition tanks, but I understand why they have done this

Theres options to deal with vehicles tho. I run SM and a Terminator Squad with chainfists really tears shit up if they can get ontop of it

I love this, but im not so keen on the new twin linked rule. I like dual lightning claws and boltstorm aggressors but the new rule makes them feel very underwhelming in terms of doing on the tabletop what they do in lore

1-3 points more T is not going to change "the feel" of vehicles. Players need to stop to look at vehicles less as monstrous creatures and just use them how the lore suggests them
