Thank you Zoodisc for making this video... for some reason this brings me an strange sense of calm and happiness, which for me is hard to come across during these days...
Remarkable video. And well within Charlie's 4 minutes limit. Okay, Jay ! But someone tweeted about his jumping and then I started to watch closer. And again. And I started to count. I counted in total 60 catches, skies, layouts and steals. 10 clap catches, 6x with his left hand and the other 44x with his right hand. That seems very one-sided, but hey, if you win them all this way ... Good thing is that he jumps ALWAYS from his left foot and that means he's then literally taller when catching right handed, so well done. Further several very nice inside forehand assists, a lefty backhand, two tremendous around backhand assists, a backhand huck and ... a travel on a forehand huck. :o)
This is a great submission and he's an amazing all-around player, but it gets a bit stale watching a guy who must stand around 6' 4" "sky" guys on heavily-contested hucks. The defensive highlights and breakaway speed/other athletic ability were a lot more impressive to see
I hear you - the point I was trying to make is, with Tannor, you sorta have to reconsider what a "contested huck" looks like. His ability in the air is elite - for many reasons other than his height. I am a staunch possession-based player, but in the middle of our 2018 season on DiG, I had a chat with the coaches after watching tape of our season. It was just mathematically good offense to throw it to him in the endzone - I think he caught literally 100% of hucks at Pro Champs.
Good point, I get the sense that he has a presence similar to Babbitt’s on the field. They almost make things look so effortless you can forget how impressive it is. Great work on the video 🔥
