Hunting for survival and butchering to satiate your palate are polar apart. The former is Dharma and the latter is wanton indulgence. The same goes for sex, war or any Tamsik practices. Tamisk element or the negative principle is neither good nor bad. It's how it is supposed to be.
Another insightful episode. I learned a great deal from a real Tantra Sadhak. We neither have to accept nor reject this. This piece of information comes out of one of the many paths of the enormous indigenous tradition of Bharat. Just as there's a variety of food items we can choose from, the Sanatan tradition offers diverse paths for an individual to choose from depending on their preferences and what suits them. As an Bengali, I can confirm some kinds of stuff, but in nights with Tantiks I can't get along, too much soul interactions, headaches & nausea comes. So, I would suggest to avoid them.

evertime i watch Rajarshi Nandy i get mesmerized and like i said YOU HAVE TO watch the 2nd episode which is about Demon, Satanisms and all which was created to cater Western audience. Having said that, this episode is one of my favorites!
In Sanatana Dharma, everything is a divine manifestation. It's part of a divine play. Just as in a movie, the actors are acting out different shades and shapes of characters, so in this world we all are playing different roles. The only thing is that we all have become different characters and forgotten the main actor, the original mischief maker who is playing around different roles. Nothing is sinful in this cosmic space and beyond. Everything is divine, even the so called dark forces. We just choose to play the roles based on accumulated tendencies.
That, in a weird way sounds like an RPG(role playing game) to me but what about the thing called free will? does that have any meaning at all if you are just playing your role? What if you aren't satisfied with your role? What then? Why must you follow the MC? Why can't you become the Mc or the anti Mc or even have nothing to do with Mc? and what's the meaning of this divine play? To get what? and something I can't agree is that, to accept everything is divine. Does that mean what Hitler did to jews is divine? What Churchill did to the Bengalis or the massacres the Pakistanis commitmented on Bengalis, all of that is divine play and whatever you feel as the both oppressors, victims and the third party, who is observing it all is just a divine play? Your comment makes a lot of logical sense to me, it does but I can't seem to accept such an answer.
I think one of the mistakes many western people make is taking one sect of Hinduism and think that is what Hinduism all is! Think of Hinduism as a religion with multiple forms of practices to attain the same goal. Some practices may feel ridiculous or scary and others highly profound like Vedanta or some practices which are very similar to Christianity or Islam where you visit temples, pray etc. The freedom that this religion gives you is you can select a path which *SUITS YOU!* It may be Tantra or hundred other practices. There are millions of Hindus who may not even heard of Tantra in their life but remain a Hindu and even attain the end goal in spiritual life because they may be practicing Bhaktiyoga - common devotional path to a God, Rajayoga - path of Yoga or even Karmayoga - path of action who see work as a form of worship etc. There is a simple saying in Hinduism, the truth is one but the wise seek it in different ways.
Hi Zuzana, Thanks again for one more beautiful reaction video ! ♥ Yoga, Tantra etc are tools given to humanity in "Hindu way of life" to transcend from the experience of duality to experience that non-dual state (Advaita) which is our true state. Our body is our vehicle. Some tools are more suitable for some than the other. It's our choice which path and tool to choose and practice. This is my humble understanding so far. I may be wrong though.
Dont assume anything thats the first rule for new learners.. keep watching keep learning and keep connecting dots to one another. More than 80% of 1.40 Billion people are Hindu and dont worry and out of those 99% or more dont even practice these, they even dont know about all these deep concepts.. Hinduism is a very deep ocean and most of us only aware of or follow only swimming pool.. most of just follow just core beliefs of Hinudism because to them its way of life. Pure Spiritual paths are followed by very few.. most of us Indians are not even aware of these things and believe me most of comments are also PRE GOGGLED because who is on that spiritual path and focussed on these techniques wont even care or watch reaction of foreigners they wont reply they are busy in their journey they wont care what or how you perceive them and they dont send missionaries like Christianity or Islam to increase followers. They dont give invitations to come to Church or Mosque and read their book..
To make it simple for you: Out of 112 discipline given by Adiyogi, what we know as Yoga is contained within 3-4 disciplines. Yoga is a preparation of body and mind for higher spiritual growth. But, it doesn't stop there. Other methods are equally important for spiritual growth. As explained by Rajashri Nandi, it is not possible to be one with the higher consciousness ( Brahman) directly. Dieties, which are a manifestation of brahman in masculine and feminine forms of universe will help in reaching higher consciousness and enlightenment.
Tantra is extremely difficult, or I'd rather say it's impossible for any soft-hearted or gentle person, and they should never try it out of curiosity because of the fallout they might suffer from an insincere approach. It's like, if you can't handle the recoil of a gun, then never use it.
In Shaktism, the Divine Mother is jointly worshipped as a combination of ten different cosmic personalities. She is seen as the One Truth in ten different facets - the Dus Mahavidyas. What sets the Mahavidyas from other Devi forms is that are considered Tantric nature. They take the following names and manifestations: 1)Kali: This "Devourer of Time" is worshipped as the very essence of the Brahman or the Supreme Self. Kali is regarded as the Supreme Deity of Kalikula systems 2)Tara: The Goddess who Saves, Guides and Protects. She offers the ultimate knowledge necessary for salvation. This Mahavidya is also known as Neel Saraswati 3)Lalita Tripura-Sundari: The Goddess, also known as Shodashi, is the One Who is the Most Beautiful in the Three Worlds. She is the Supreme Deity of the Srikula systems. She is also the "Tantric Parvati" or the "Moksha Mukuta". 4)Bhuvaneshwari: This Goddess is the Mother or Janani of the whole world - Her entire Body is the Cosmos 5)Bhairavi: The Fierce Warrior Goddess 6)Chhinnamasta: The Self-Decapitated Goddess, who holds her own neck in her hands 7)Dhumavati: The Widow Goddess or the Goddess of death. 8)Bagalamukhi: The Goddess Who Paralyzes Enemies 9)Matangi: The "Tantric Saraswati", also the Prime Minister of Lalita 10)Kamala: The "Tantric Lakshmi", also the Goddess on the Lotus Interestingly, according to the Mahabhagavata Purana and Brhaddharma Purana, Shodashi and Tripura Sundari are regarded as one deity with two different names. The Guhyatiguyha-tantra relates the Mahavidyas with Vishnu's ten avatars or manifestations. It also states that the Mahavidyas are the source from which the avatars of Vishnu manifested.
No common folks don't try things they don't understand, actions have consequences. This is why paths such as tantra require precise guidance. It's not a thing one does by doing it. Also, hinduism is about practice but it's only one of the aspects, rituals too. There are tonnes of ways to get to where you want to go, you're discovering probably the quickest and ones with most severe consequences. There are other more pure ones. Every was has it's pros and cons.
99% of people are not directly related to tantrik practice... only 1% special people do this. So it can be easily predicted that tantrik s*x is a very rare thing.😂 not a common thing.😂 Again, 99% of people practice Vaidik achara (which is the regular way to pray deities). 1% of people practice Tantrik achara and no one even forcing you to follow that path. It's upto your choice. So it's not so much a common thing.😅
Look i can understand your point of view , i would suggest try to see and find the truth and remember it can only happen when your neutral, so i suggest try any upasana of any higher gods and experience your self that might clear your thoughts , look because there is nothing your gona lose
"Hinduism is about practice and rituals" Not really. I am a hindu but i dont do any rituals. There are hindu traditions that doesn't follow any rituals. Hinduism is not about rituals. Most people dont follow tantrik sex. People dont realise or talk about the dangers of tanrtrik sex. Doing it wrongly creates lots of negative karma even. It makes one deviate from spirituality. Plus its yhe lowest path. Tantra literally means technique. Certain yoga techniques are also tantra. Hinduism has both ritualistic and non ritualistic aspects. Those who follow Advaita vedanta traditions would totally ignore rituals.
I'm also learning about tantra in so much detail, i dont think even 1% of indian know much about tantra because it so Much different from the vedic type of worship

Yoga in one word is detoxing body. There’s no harm from yoga. Even Jesus travelled to Jagannath Puri and Himalaya before he went back and became the spiritual soul. In and all, Hinduism isn’t a thing, it’s Sanatan, meaning eternal, the with no start and no end and all these are different ideas to attain the same reality. That’s the easiest way I could put it.
This is not exactly Hinduism, this is Tantra. Tantra is one aspect of Hinduism/ Buddhism, there are other methods too. There are other simpler ways too for people living regular lives. I have been doing Kundalini meditation for years now. I am a vegetarian, no alcohol or smoking, so no panch makaras. Simple food, not much of indulgence with the world except my job and family. Tantra is not a general path in India but there are many other practices to get unified with the supreme being/ reality. There are many yogic/ mantric/breathing, devotional/action or kriya yoga and a variety different practices depending on the individual, which help in attaining the same. For some people, practices start taking effect sooner, for some the shift begins but nothing seems to happen, depending on your previous karma over the lifetimes. In my case, now I just close my eyes and Kundalini or energy or mother Goddess starts dancing inside me and I feel so much joy. It wasn't so when I started 12 years ago. Even when the energy started moving initially after 6 years, there were blockages and beyond a certain point and Kundalini couldn't move. My outer world seemed to crumble but faith helped me with the process, I even felt like stopping everything at one point. The clearance of blockages in subtle system was difficult and still is a daily process, but after a few months or years I reach to a new level of consciousness by the blessings of God. For that whatever sh*t we take from outside world has to be cleared but it is a beautiful process.. Hinduism cannot be put into one square box of logic. Don't just start thinking that there are lots of rituals and all, every path is different.
wow - I applaud you for doing all the work that many would have no embarked on. It is conquering oneself. I also never thought tantra = Hinduism. I get hundreds of comments about a) how Hinduism is not a religion and b) how there are many difference paths and c) how tantra is very specific and hardly anyone does it :)
Tantra is one of the many ways to reach the same destination. Perhaps it's a faster way to experience and connect to the Divine but as he mentioned it may not be suitable for every spiritual seeker. 🙏
I hope you have heard about OSHO ,one of his book is sex to meditation .Original in hindi Sambhog se Samadhi Tak .What Mr.Nandi tried to explain ,is smoothly explained in his book .The style Any man and woman can understand .It will end all your questions and curiosities .
"Have you tried it"...its like saying have you try doing a Phd. You can't do it casually, it needs years of practise and dedication. Not something which can be done over weekend.
Tantras helps in manifestation of wish.. Like you wish to be successful.. you'll be somehow blessed with the situation and become successful That's the reason people are curious But in reality in India we don't do this..only 1 in a million tries this
Hi Zuzana, I am new to your channel and after saw your reaction in this video of nandy sir and reading some comments I could not pull back myself from commenting. Yes you heard right in tantrik upasana one upasak(devotee) should have to follow the path that nandy sir mentioned here. In west you might feel it horrific but I will clear you something that in the sanatan dharma Mahadev is recognise as *Aadiyogi* he's the ultimate yogis of yogi. He's capable of destruction of the whole creation. *Kalbhairav* is the one form of *Mahadev* or *Shiva* Tantrik worship of the *Kalbhairav* form of *Shiva* *Shiva* is one of the most mysterious being in all the Hindu deities. He's the lord of the lord's and he's one of the trinity of Hinduism. Everyone here said that vedic path is right or 99% Hindus follow the vedic achar. But that doesn't mean those who worship *Kalbhairav* or those tantrik is not Hindu. Sanatan is the most complex and diverse religion of the world. Rather you can say it's not actually religion but it's a form of living. Sanatan never force someone to doing something against their will nor judging the tantrik for following their paths with the given process. Because ultimately in the end all the 100% sanatanis or hindus have only one end goal and that's *Moksha* / *Salvation* *Parmeshwar mei Bilin* / *Oneness to God*

so there is internal tantra and external tantra so mediation is internal tantra and ritual is external tantra. tantra means technology internal tantra like yoga and meditation is more refined and advanced and generally not everyone can do that so external tantra is easy that way

For to be in spritual realm one has to be fit because there is a saying that only good body can house a good mind so for to be spritual and do all things that were explained in his videos you need a healthy body and yoga first builds your body than your good healthy body can help you to go after God.
Vamachara(sexual, drinking , eating meat as spirituality) is considered as lowest level of practice by many highly renowned saints and yogis EDIT: There are three types of tantra. Satvik, Rajasic, and Tamasic. Tamasic tantra includes vamachara (spirituality through sex, alcohol, meat etc). Satvik is the highest form. It includes practices like doing yoga and so on.
@@Bharat3.0mission There is a valid reason why I don't believe so. Tamasic is considered as the lowest in the foundational samkhya philosophy of Hindu tradition. Also one can't call it shortcut. It's quite the opposite since it results in the loss of veerya, the core of kundalini Shakti. Satvik is always represented with the highest. There are no shortcuts to spirituality. If one approach a spiritual path in a certain way, one get elevated quicker. The one exception is kundalini yoga since it's a matter of raising kundalini through sushumna. But it's extremely dangerous when improperly practiced.

Yoga is actually a spiritual process, a way of living with the ultimate goal of becoming one with god/reality/cosmos...There are many stags/phases in yoga sadhana where you advance step-by-step spiritually...One of them is meditation, postures, rituals etc...But the west only knows yoga as postures/asanas which are like exercises good for health and view meditation too as a superficial thing good for mental health...Nothing more than that
Yes correct - I'd understand Yoga more of an exercise as well from living here and I think the reason why that is that people for the most part don't want to know about mumbo jumbo - that is spirituality so the easy way to sell it to people is through - it is exercise - no who hooo thing - this is where they are more open.

The universal one source idea is boring and to me it just sounds like a bunch of fancy words. Most people talk about one god, one source but dont really do anything. Its just words. While I have seen tantriks meditating in snow naked. So obviously their methods are working. I used to like these ideas when i was younger but not so much now. I love tantra because they reject everything that west has defined as pure.
Actually he is talking about left hand path in which everything is treated as divine aspect there is no boundation usually in hinduism 95 percent prefer right hand path and avoid left hand path coz its for tantrik n agori who want to gain some divine power..

In human, they think, hindu, Christian, muslim, Jew etc are ways to God but human don't know there are thousands of ways to meet God. Earth is way old then we know, ideas of human are also way old and working.
In our country won't even take salt directly from other person. He or she has to bring and put in front of you and you suppose to take it . Because salt and few other things are considered that can be a catalyst for tranfering karma back and forth just like what happens with s*x .

Just one thing to wish for your spiritual journey ..... Before trying to be God like or *God* please try to be human or human like atleast. One of our gurus from Bengal *Shri Ramakrishna* guru of *Swami Vivekananda* uttered a learning after experimenting n practicing the way of different faiths himself personally *"Jato Mot Tato Path"* (its in Bengali so I need to explain what am trying to say) it means, you can attain your divinity by all means if you have complete faith on it. You donot have to convrt your believes to Hinduism to reach divinity or in simple language... You can be a Christian, Muslim, Buddist, Jain, or from any of the religious cult which I have have not mentioned here. It doesn't matter, you can attain the same divinity. Your path may be little confusing as no one probably will be available to guide you on this path. Tantrik way of practice can probalbly show you a path forward which is a written guidance on this field. But I must say that please be a good human being first..rest of the wisdom will follow accordingly 🙏🙏
so the way I see it - we are all parts of God- hence God-like if you wish - we are powerful manifestations but we are working towards getting back to the "source" - unity and that's what I see as a journey

I am a Sadhaka and I follow Samyachara, I don't have to do tantric sex etc. I do everything within, the kundalini energy reaches to Sahasara Chakra that's the moment when you become Shiva. And it's all happen internally by meditation. The tantric sex etc he mentioned in video is Vanachara, it's not for household. And many go crazy and many die in that process .. we see white people doing tantric sex for enjoyment without having any knowledge about it which leads to their downfall. If you think the things told in video is the only path, you are 110% wrong.. that's the extreme path not for everyone.. for household, path is simple, full of devotion and being vegetarian is important.. You still haven't gotten the point here, this podcast was about a path which 99% Hindus don't know about and again, it's not for household..

When mostly people from Christianity and Islam religions look at sanatana Dharma they think it as a pagan ideology where many gods are worshipped but the difference is that people over here worship one Individual god which he likes if he is worshipping multiple gods at same time then it's wrong but if he is worshipping a single god through that God Supreme Brahaman could be realised but in west I think many people have misinterpreted what jesus said when jesus said you should not worship anyone other then me it meant for the situations of that time where people were poised into murders rape and crime and they were worshipping the Rulers and Rich people as their Gods in that context it was said that you should only worship me and by me he meant soul and soul is Brahman Itself.

These tantra practitioners are the fringe of society. Just like some Christian cults who are at the fringes of society who practice all sorts of things. The missionaries presented this as Hinduism per se which is ingenious.

There is nothing like tantrik sex in entire suthentic hindu scriptures. Infact, the highest scripture of Hindus is Vedas and nothing else. Other scriptures, including Manusmriti, Ramayan, Mahabharat , Puran etc are acceptable and genuine to us to the extend they agree with the Vedas. If some portion does not agree it is immediately taken as later days adulteration. This said, tantra aur tantric sex does not agree with Vedic teachings. Hence, it is entirely unauthentic and post Vedic creation to malign hindu dharma and practices sex in the name of divinity. There is nothing wrong with sex but calling it devine is anti Vedic act . Remember Veda is to hindus what Quran and Bible are to muslims and Christians. Ramayana, Mahabharat, Puran. Vigyan Bhairav, which gave the concept of tantric practice with sex, is entirely anti Vedic and should be rejected outright.
