She was at a theater in Folsom California a year ago last December.... she was absolutely incredible.. a seasoned entertainer.. can’t wait to see her again
You go Tanya beautiful as ever and your voice is so great this brings back a lot of memories big fan back in the 80s guys had posters of Farrah Fawcett on the wall I had Tanya Tucker TNT she's so cool God bless you Tanya and your family
I remember playing and singing this song with an all-girl country band in Alaska. It still one of my favorites. (I played keyboards, my sister Sandy played drums and our bass player, Nancy Lee, played bass. We were all vocalists.) We always introduced Tanya's songs with "Sometimes you (t)can, sometimes you (t)can't". The crowd loved it!
I've always loved to listen to Tayna love her voice and fistyness I bet she's a wildcat.. I also love Reba as well to me these 2 are the greatest female country singers ♥️ them both so much.. Thank God I'm a country girl wouldn't have it any other way
Until this past year(2019) I had forgotten what a dynamite Tanya Tucker continues to be, watching and listening to this video, brings back so many songs, got to finally see her live back in the 90's in Lowell, Mass and man was she an entertainer as well, years and years proved she was more than worthy of the Country Music Hall of Fame but we all know men are allowed to drink and womanize with who they want, go to prison, screw whom evers wife but don't do that if you're a country singing tough cookie woman!!, you will be scorned, get back in the kitchen! Tanya is a prime example of this double standard and it needs to get corrected. While I'm Livin' 2019 shows a more mature Tanya Tucker centered on family and life and looking back but her eyes are on the prize, more recordings and fans that still love her spunk and style!! And finally two Grammy awards under her belt, life doesn't look any brighter!
I just saw this for the first time. I was impressed by the sound of the piano at the end, It sounded like the original, then saw it was Hargus Robbins. Then it hit me, he played the original piano at the end. Sounded the same. I was impressed by the steel player, that was close to the original too.
This song is the best that she performed, at least in my opinion. And, it was particularly best when she was very young, I think she was 14 at the time. This is one of the ones she did early on.
The fact that none of the big country music awards organizations failed to give her entertainer of the year at least once shows what clowns and charlatans they were.
