I like these short little videos on the common upholstery supplies. Thanks for the glue tip that is something I have not used tack strip for.

Always love your videos . . . I have a lot to learn . . . but your teaching methods are most helpful . . . When I haven't had tack tape, I've used plastic strapping that is used in house construction for plumbing pipes, etc. . . . it is pretty pliable and really strong . . .the edges are smooth too . . . I buy it at a hardware store or lumberyard.

Hey Kevin! Great video. I’ve only been doing upholstery with the same shop since August 2013 and always referred to it as “chip strip”. Great measuring tool also. Thanks for sharing. - Robert
