If it works, why not...it has for me...the real trick, if you have more than one ball, is to have them drilled exactly the same...even with the same PRO.
Tape and how to tape is a personal preference on feel there is no one way exactly, whatever help you from grabbing the ball is good. I do use Kt tape actually on my thumb for feel and have tried white, black and silver all were ok but I like the KT Tape best for me
minimike22222 they both have their uses. White tape in the front of the thumb hole helps the ball stay on your hand during the swing. Black tape is slick, which can help reduce blisters, etc when used in the back or sides of the thumb hole. If you were to just pick one, i'd say white tape is far more important.
Agree that it is so much easier to not use your thumb, however I must say it becomes a personal preference everyone has to choose what's best for them, either way I will always wish bowlers the best and hope they enjoy the process. Keep rolling!!!
