The Tapo is fed with a random plucked sine sequence. I then enter random taps with LP filters in INSert edit mode, which effectively dispaches taps randomly in a small time frame (the time between the first two taps). This creates all kinds of artificial reverberant spaces which are not particularly realistic but interesting in themselves... it's a proto-reverb if you will! Playing with Modulation and Feedback, one can create anything from subtile ghost tones to aggressive feedback tones.
