Having an audible warning for low voltage and other sensors is a nice feature of the FrSky Taranis Q X7. But unlike RSSI, you actually have to create these warnings.

Aaaaa... don’t know exactly what to say. I have been watching his videos for two years, basically since my day one doing fpv. Learned a lot, from setting up my Turnigy Evolution to basic novice tips. I was just wondering why there weren’t any recent videos coming up, until I scrolled down and read your comment. Sad to hear it. Thank you for all you have taught me, solved many of my “headaches”. none of the 'play val' functions i created will play a voice. The speaker works, as i can set movement of a switch to play one of the built-in sounds. anything i can do so the default voices will play for dictating voltage, etc....?

Hi, how would you set up a voice alert at altitude, so that it warns every 20 meters, 40, 60 etc..

This was a HUGE help to me just now. Thank you so much!!! I have a faulty FC that doesn't output video, and since the manufacturer told me to keep it and sent another , this allowed me to monitor the voltage and RSSI through the radio without the OSD overlay !!

Anyone know why I dont have a logical switch menu? I have global functions however. My menu only has 9 pages instead of 12. Im using the qx7s. Halp plox.

Thank you very much! your series was very helpful, much appreciated. Is there an easy way to set alarms for low voltage when flying with both 3s and 4s batteries. Can you set a switch when alternating between batteries? A tutorial on that would be great :)

Hi this is amazing series and i am following but i htink i missed something. i want to know about Altitude warning. How is this information send to trasnmitter is it through only receiver or an OSD. Also i am not a quad guy, i only do FPV planes. I am trying to shift to Frsky Qx7 from aurora Hitec

I have a tranis qx7. And a XM Plus. A SP racing F3 flight control. But I cannot get RSSI or OSB can you help me? I tried many attempts different ways to get RSSI on my qx7. Every time I go to my since RSSI it shows nothing.

JC, I can't make my Qx7 beep with countdown timers. It will only give voice minute counts, even with the beeps option selected. Am I missing something? Thanks for any input...awesome videos by the way.

Thanks for all the help with this JC. Life saver you are!! 👍🏼 Did you realize if you continually rotate the wheel it will adjust in large incremental values? So if you are setting 1300 mah for example. Rather than short burst rotations of the wheel rotate your thumb all the way around in a fast solid motion and you will be to the higher value in no time. 😉 Thanks again!

Works in reverse for me. For ax it stays silent. Any help? BTW my VFAS is correct.

JC.. when flying and trying to hit gates if find I drift right and left or Yaw just slightly.. is the step I would use to set the Qx7 to beep when stick is not centered.. plus or minus >0.5 ? I know the beep would be annoying but not flighting straight is more annoying..

Should work for most receivers. This stuff is mostly handled on the radio, so receivers rarely should be a variable. Good luck with your build!

Is the 13.9 voltage for 4s batteries? My drone starts beeping at 15.3 volts to land.

Yes JC was referring to a 4S battery when setting this warning up at - 13.9 volts for all cells which is 13.9 / 4 = 3.47 volts per cell. Note that JC was using this as an example and is at the very limits for what a lipo should be discarged at. its said not to go below 3.3v a cell or you can damage your lipo battery. Choose a value that best fits your battery and setup.

It seems fine at any distance over 10-15ft away, but when it's close it constantly looses the signal and give the warning.

Hey JC, i have a question, i have the omnibus f3, x4r , and qx7, i have setup the telemetry, find all the sensor( vfas too) , but in the logical switches page, in the v1 there isnt vfas, a4 neither, only a 2, can you help me? Btw in the screen page( or telemetry page i dont know how to call it) i have setup the rssi and vfas, i can see it, i have put vfas on a switch for ask it on demand, but in the logical, i cant find it.....

Alessio Dalmasso on my X9D when I scroll looking for vfas it will stop before the sensor list then I hit the button again and it shows the rest. maybe that might help you.
