@@mrey97 OR pushed rather abruptly ......... Not exactly the chainsaw massacre was it? Made Tarantino look such a reasonable bloke you start wondering 'Was that just staged'?
@@Magia_Ignis The camera dude had NO business pestering him without so much as saying anything. QT flipped out, but he had absolutely every right to. Plus, the paparazzo wanted to goad him into a fight just to get a piece of news, and QT didn't give him the pleasure.
@@Magia_Ignis yes, he should have cracked his nuts. Every piece of shit has a camera and want to film someone without their consent ? Why would you do that ? And expect not to get handled like that ?
@@maniish2165 its his job and don't be dramatic about it the camera man was trying to start conversation be wouldn't let him and he didn't even get mad at that it was he started Hitting him actually the did more asshole things than the camera man he hit him and Hitting someone's camera which is his property and the camera man only recorded him
Lol i know your comment is a joke. But I think Tarantino knows he'd just have to pay the paparazzi like 1 million dollars. I have a feeling that's what 90% of paparazzi people are trying to do, get assaulted or ran over by a celebrity so they don't have to work again.
It was better for him to walk away, if he punched the camera guy, they got their story and narrative and they would run with it and smear his name till he was on his death bed.
@@manchuriaaaaaa It is pretty normal, it just comes from where things are placed within the brain. Also, liking feet isn't the deciding factor within deciding if "you're normal".
Nah, he makes good movies and all... but Tarantino is actually a prick in real life. Rude, arrogant, abusive and has a massive God complex. He expects people to pay to see his movies, but he has no time for the fans. When I was 13 I asked for his signature and he told me to "fuck off". Funny enough I asked Brock Lesnar for an autograph about a week before and he was really polite and friendly, doing 2 autographs for me.
@@Xalgucennia Yeah? What if they keep doing it over and over relentlessly then one day you're getting coffee and when you think you finally got a break, you see this fucking guy who won't even look at you if it's not through a lens let alone even talk to you when you confront him.... You'd just keep ignoring and walking away forever? Sounds like something a total pushover would do.
Daniel Araujo I was replying to the guy who saying he’s living a lie. He is not. The guy with the camera does provoke him though but yeah he’s def not a super polite person. However, I don’t blame him for this.
A headline about a movie director slapping a cameraman suggests one thing, when it's really about something completely different. Paparazzi are not 'cameramen.'
Ext. Cannes - Day We see a cafeteria, suddenly, a man comes out, he is QUENTIN (45), he is wearing a jacket, and he has a cup of coffee in his hand. The boy who is filming catches his attention. Boy (O.S.) Hey Tarantino Tarantino notices the presence of the cameraman, he looks at the same. Tarantino Whats goinon here?
so much of who he is is in those movies. i really love this guy. the way he deals with his emotions while also being highly analytical is so distinctive.
I've watched this video for some reason about 13 times now, once a year starting from 2009 and its only getting better. Classic like everything Tarantinos done so far!
“I don't need you to tell me how fucking good my coffee is, okay? I'm the one who buys it, I know how good it is. When Bonnie goes shopping, she buys shit. Me, I buy the gourmet expensive stuff because when I drink it, I want to taste it.” - Jimmy
I love seeing him process the information as it goes. Oh this guy isn’t a local, he’s paparazzi. Lmao. You can tell he lives in his own movie world. Love it I can relate.
They really are evil. They got delight at provoking him into hitting them. Empty shells like them parasite off talented people like Quentin. It is sick that we have to put up with stalkers. Shows how weak and disgusting our species is. If you tell someone to stop harassing you and they don't stop, there should be an immediate issue of a restraining order without having to go to court. But no. You have to BEG some piece of garbage sitting in a court with a wig on who tells you who you have to allow near you. Human species is a failed sick enabling species.
It's one thing to greet someone ask them how they've been, but to record them via video camera and annoy them is pretty disrespectful, especially when he or she is going through a rough day. Though he was pretty chill at the video, still doesn't mean you should harass someone like that in public.
To put it in another way: Quentin Tarantino is Christopher Robin and his characters that he created are Winnie the Pooh, Tigger, and the rest of the gang.
The fact that Tarantino scalded his mouth with hot coffee and muscled through it, shows you how tough he is, and he would in fact whoop that cameraman’s butt up and down that street regardless of how icy it was.
@WINNER atleast he's living his life we stil have a miserable pain and hell to endure til death that is our own paradise death so you know what he wins we lose
Everyone knows a person like Tarantino isn’t backing down because he is afraid. He is backing down to avoid a costly multi million dollar civil lawsuit.
i don't think that lawsuit is going to be a costly multi million because of assault and even if it did he didn't back down to avoid the lawsuit because after all the guy was invading his privacy and his personal space which is a crime and an assault would be self defense but i think he backed down so the media wouldn't judge him
@@notnoobie338 I don't care if its legal or not. If i ask you to put your camera away. You put it away immediately or I'll break the fucking thing over your head.
He is just walking down the street minding his own business, then some random dude with a attitude starts recording him for no reason, that is enough to piss anyone off.
Soon as the papp said "go on hit me" Tarantino realized he was being dragged into down to their level and quickly adjusted, wise move to realize its not worth it.
He already slapped him though. Regardless of what the cameraman was doing, Tarantino was being a huge douchebag from the start. Also, I'm pretty confident he'd whoop nobodies ass.
If this was Maradona, he would have received a running kick to his balls 😂😂 ( even though this sounds like a pun..I once read that such a thing actually happened)..
That was a good Tarantino short film, I especially loved the part where he told off that cameraman and threatened to whoop him up and down the street. Classic Tarantino dialogue XD 🤣
@Tony Morello: That it is. Adults can't purchase grass via retail sale with money from their pocket, but all the while we're supposed to let our personal privacy be violated by anyone who wishes to be nosy!? Abso-fucking-lutely NOT! Filming cops on their policing job is one thing. But filming ordinary citizens without such citizen's permission, that's entirely another. Fuck photo-bugs! They should be made to eat their stupid piece of dumb shit camphones. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-5vyXWoFa2vE.html
@Tony Morello: Agreed! None of those fucks are ever gonna catch me bein' a nosy buggin' fuck like them. But then again I'm a man with his own business in life to occupy my attention pretty damned good, better than nosy little shit-weasel assholes who have no life nor business of their own, always trying to get up someone else's butt. Yep, they'll never catch me actin' some shit like that, tell ya what hehehehehe To put it all another way: It's all too much technology in the paws, I meant hands of amateurs that can't handle it; it's all more than they know what they're doing. Although perhaps labeling them as _amateurs_ probably misleadingly gives them more credit than they really warrant. Perhaps they really need to step the fuck back for a bit and grow the fuck up before they cause worse things to happen, see. Advanced technology works way better with smarts and brains than without them hehehehehehe
