A spider crawled into a power-saving lightbulb in my desk lamp and fried to a crisp and made my whole room smell like burning ass a few weeks back. I can only imagine just how RANK that whole town must smell with a 100 foot tarantula roasting from that Napalm Strike at the end.

Another great classic. A tarantula that big, even if you sever a leg, some spiders have special valve like muscles in their leg to seal the wound. Preventing blood loss from happening

I remember watching this on Channel 4 during their monster movie season way back in the early 90's. Its an absolute classic in B-movie fun! However, THEM was far superior but this is a great slice of Atomic craze fun!! Great video C.C!!❤️❤️❤️❤️

This is definitely one of the better 1950s classic monster movies, the monster action is good in this one, however the monster action is fortunately ended by Clint Eastwood as a jet fighter pilot. Although I think you forgot to add the 2 numbers when the 2 police officers were eaten so 17 deaths Also if Toho isn’t trying to kill you with copyright, maybe do Varan or Frankenstein Vs Baragon

Aw damn dude i literally had Black Scorpion right after Tarantula and changed it last minutes. :( I wish we had more time for monsters, might have to come back and do it again next month.

I seem to remember a 50's B-movie with a giant spider that also screamed! There's typical 50's scene in which the spider is thought to have been killed but was just unconscious and those pesky local teens decide to hold a dance in the hall it's in, then it wakes up!.... Can't remember the name of it!

I love the soundtrack to this movie! Some of the music reminds me of the soundtrack from "The Creature from the Black Lagoon." Raymond Bailey (Mr. Drysdale on "The Beverly Hillbillies") played a scientist in this flick.

The Scientist in this Movie experiments with a Growth Serum which causes Animals to increase in Size. He Tests the Serum on his two lab assistants for some reason and the Result is that they become Deformed. One of them goes violent and insane and tears up the Lab(freeing the Tarantula which eventually grows into a Giant), He also injects our Scientist Friend with his own Serum then dies. The Scientist later Mutates into a Monster as well and is eventually killed by the Giant Spider.
