Just finished watching the full race. I have to say that's the best I've ever seen you drive Jake. That track is incredibly difficult, doesn't come over how hard it is here because you made it look so damn easy. Fantastic driving, heel and toe too, I just can not do that personally, my feet won't cooperate at all.
Watching while reading new coffee table book, "Porsche Prototype era 1964 to 1973 in photographs", by Bill Oursler. Finally I understand the 904 906 907 910 long tail from that early pre 917 era under Peich. Fascinating for anoraks like me. Great book. Great Channel. Monza 6 hour tomorrow. While the 60s were the golden age for me anyway we're actually entering a new very exciting sports car and sports prototype era. The Peugeot is on track, Glickenhaus are in their new NART Tribute? sky blue livery, next year, Ferrari, Porsche and more. cannot wait.

I paused the video, but when I seen you head towards that bridge abutment with tail slipping and siding on the first lap, it had me on the edge of my seat for a second. So yeah, the video caught the drama of it. Great video so far!
Love to see a display of where the car, and other cars are ona GPS shaded map, also mph and other readouts. Of course it is supper cool to do this, THANKS!
Great watch and I'm jealous of your knowledge of the course. I'm really enjoying the new Targa Florio map being developed on Assetto Corsa, such a great circuit from the best era of motorsport IMHO. Just a head's up have you tried the newly released 1972 Ferrari 365 GTB/4 Daytona Competizione from Pessio Garage yet? It's on RaceDepartment and is a great drive. Would love to see you do something with it and it works great around Sicily.
Missed the beginning of this stream. Do you explain how the staggered start works for the online race in GPL? I’ve done 3 lap races against the AI in GTR2, and with a full field of 50 cars (67 WSC), the first half a lap is completely bonkers with everyone starting at once.
it looks like the server is set to a practice session and whoever is hosting the event is allowing the drivers to take to the track at certain intervals to allow for them to be spaced out and the times can still be recorded

Man I need to learn how to heel and toe. If only there was some one who was really good at it and could teach me. Haha Looks like such a fun event! I'm gonna get ready for the next championship.
There was a video showing one track going up and down, under bridges, really different than any other track. I think it was in your videos. Can you tell me what it was? I watched it last winter on youtube but i cant find it anymore
Is this with the 60fps hack on, Jake ? Fremaerate ooks super fast. I guess since you have no AI here it works ok. GPL really needs VR support, wish Crew Chief, or someone just as clever would support this fantastic game too.
