Florida is worth bombing because there are some important government facilities there, and it's the largest state many Americans wouldn't mind losing enough for a full nuclear exchange. Bad place to be if there is to be a limited nuclear exchange. Animals go from birth to reproduction quick and have litters. That is enough to live in a radiation zone. People taking 13 years makes them a no go. Florida would not be a state, just a national park with some RAD-adventure tours.
