In this video I take a close up look at the newly released Target Nastri 04 darts. Thankfully these darts were gifted to me in exchange for a review otherwise there's no way I'd shell out the $105usd for them. WAY overpriced imo. Enjoy the video!

You mentioned the Trident pint collars, I rely like them a lot. They are great to save your flights and they really do make a big difference in flight wear and tear. I use them on almost all of my darts. I don't know why dart companies make darts with a flat sharp nose they could at least round off the sharp edge but they leaver it flat and sharp I guess they all sell flights as well as darts so they want you to wreck your flights, so that they can sell you new flights all the time? Great review. The barrel looks stunning, love the grip. Also enjoy the fact that there is no target logo smooth section. Too expensive for me unfortunatly, but for Target standards a good price (RVB gen 4s, how are they more expensive than these?

I love the look of these darts. I bought the 23g version of the 04. TBH I am kinda bummed out. To the eye they look so good but, I for the life of me can not throw these damn things accurately. They are so grippy with my normal grip. I do not want to say it "hurts" to throw the set I got but the grip level is insane. As a person who throws darts you know what I am getting at. For the price I paid for these it does kinda bum me out that I prob will never use them and they just get added to the collection, but what the heck. Love your work. Great review. Hope al goes well with surgery.

Cheers Lee. I have a question for you. Did these feel kind of cheap to you? They look good enough but when I first took them out of the package I thought they had a sort of cheap feeling. Almost hollow or something like that. Hard to explain I guess. My One80 darts feel incredibly solid and dense. These do not. Did you experience that or no?

@@WorldwideDarts To me they feel like 90% dart. I weighed them and they are all within spec of the 23g +/-0.03 I do have darts that definitely feel more dense than these darts. Recently the darts from darts clearance (about 2 months ago) You and I both got the same set of silver and black straight barrels that felt way more dense than these darts do. To answer your question tho, I would say to me they feel alright.

As always great review. In my opinion bigger dimentions started when lateral grooves first came out. Until then you had mostly radial grooves. Look at Pixel grip - those extra notches mean less tungsten thus bigger dimention to achieve required weight.

Thanks. Yeah, definitely could be. But I also reviewed the Target Bolide's and those things were huge as well. Basically a multi ring dart. I really want to get some darts tested for their tungsten content. I think it would make for a great series.

@@WorldwideDarts I forgot about those Bolides. But actually there is one set off darts that can give answer wether SwissPoit makes that much diffrence in size - Agora. I Think that one model was released in both regular and Swiss version. Just simply compare stats on both. Maybe Target is fideling with amount od tungsten?

I have a pair 01 and they are grelt for me, it suits me really good with the grib. Especially after I had a surgery in my finger. Best pair I ever had

I bought some trident 180s but they didn’t work out with how I throw, do specialty points (target storm etc) have the same protection for your flights?

My thoughts about the barrel width in comparison to weight as you talked about.. It could be because the are milled/groves from top to bottom. All over the barrel, material has been removed… so obtaining the width would be easier I guess.. what do you think?😅

another great review, thank you. i don't like these barrels but the flights are nice. I'm not a fan of the tridents, because flights doesn't cost so much. for secure my flights i always throw 5 20 1 ;-)

The barrels look amazing. I especially like the 01s because of the shape, the grips look pretty aggressive but for sure will smoothen out after a while or your grip will just adjust to it. The trident 180s do help a lot and will for sure help me out again as i just got my hands on a classic Ted Hankey smooth barrels and those lips tore the brand new flights i put on there and also damaged a condor axe integrated. yep, Nastri i want em, gotta have em, i need em! Worldwide; Really thorough review. I think these would be too grippy for me to throw comfortably; also don't like the nano points but they could be changed out easily enough. Recent Target pricing of their darts is starting to get ridiculous; my opinion, but seems like they are gouging the consumer.

Yeah, $105 for these is silly isn't it? Especially when the Bolide's only cost $35 when they first came out.

Good luck on the surgery! Sending the best of prayers! I've had similar feelings about some of the swiss point darts seeming a tad large for their weight. I've been meaning to grab a reasonably sized measuring cup to check out the true volume of the darts (using water displacement). The numbers I've always heard for darts is 18g/cm^3 for 95%, and 17g/cm^3 is 90%.

I'm in talks with a company about getting some darts tested. They use a machine that cost 1/2 million dollars and doesn't harm the darts which is nice. They also provide video clips of the testing which is good news for me as I'll be able to make a video out of it. Problem is, it cost $275 to test ONE set. But I do happen to have 35,000 subscribers. I've never done this before but if I made a video telling my subs what I have planned and then asked for a small donation I could probably get it done. If a bunch of people gave $1 I'd probably be able to test a few sets of darts from different companies. My issue is I don't like asking for donations at all. I'm here to save my subscribers money. That's my job. So we'll see if anything develops. I do think it would make for a good series though. Something never done by anyone here on RU-vid

Don’t like the looks of these. Like you say when you have throw a One80 dart you feel the difference with some brands. Myself I use the One80 jetstream hornet 23gr now as my daily dart and those are incredible. Nice review as always and good luck tomorrow.

100% agree. Some darts just "feel" nice. These almost have a hollow feel to them. They also sound a bit strange when you clang them together. The Jet Stream's are about as close as you can get to my match darts. Just slightly wider.

I think these are identical dimensions as the 21g Mensur Sulovich darts. I didn’t think they were exceptionally large, but the McKicks are skinny.

I am kind of curious to see how much the swiss points weigh. Could they be the difference in all these variations with the target darts

I was also curious, so I took out what I had and did some weighting. Here are the results: SP Silver point 30mm: 1.10g vs. its equivalent: Standard black/silver point 35mm: 0.97g SP Diamond Surge Point 30mm: 1.06g vs. its equivalent: Unicorn 6ring 35mm silver point: 0.96g or BULL's 5ring 36mm black point: 0.98g SP Diamond Surge Point 26mm: 0.93g vs. its equivalent: BULL's 5ring 32mm black point: 0.84g Conclusion: SP points are around 0.10 - 0.15g heavier than their standard point equivalent. I have the Nastri 02. Pretty dart, good weight and like the grip. The Swiss points, on the other hand... Broke one on a bounce out on my second throw out of the box. Two sessions later broke one off in the double-bull - the point stayed in the double, while the rest of the dart hit the floor. I've played for years and have broken exactly ZERO points on any of my other darts. And at $12-$15 a set, new points aren't exactly cheap. I would like it much better if Target went with standard points.

Supposedly Target has improved them. I'm not sure if it's true or not though. You definitely will want to check out Double Top Darts as their Swiss points are $7 a set and even less if you add in the discount code fb2021. At $12-$15 it sounds like you're getting ripped off at an American dart shop? www.doubletopdartshop.com/collections/dart-points-1

I like the looks of these darts. I would like if you could put the price point in the video. I was surprised I did not see your crutches against the wall. I put Trident cones on most of my darts. Thanks for that. I probably never would have known about if I had not seen them in one of your earlier reviews. The weight range and grip on these are perfect for me. Good luck on surgery today. Hopefully when they get started it won’t be as bad as they first thought. I will be looking for your next post may it be soon. Glad you asked. I certainly hinted to my doubts about these really being 90% in this video. I have a new series coming soon where I send out darts to have them tested on a machine that cost 1/2 million dollars. We're going to find out if these companies are being honest with us or not. Starting with Target. Problem is... the testing is ridiculously expensive. But yeah, time to find out what the REAL tungsten content is.

I actually like the 04 model, it reminds me a lot of my Harrow’s power points, but nicer looking. I wouldn’t mind owning a set, but I already have a set of the Target Swiss darts. I got an awesome deal on them last Christmas from Doubletopdarts for under $55 that are very similar in size and style. Great review as always, best of luck on your surgery 🤕…

Those points are a game changer for the market. Target should balances this new point design with a price that grabs and dominates the market. Introduce their darts with this technology at very discounted pricing until they grab the market share. After market share, these new customers only would want darts they can share all their points.

these barrels look like you're throwing a crystal champagne glass. I don't dislike it at all but it seems un-necessary. I normal level 4 grip multiring would serve your throw just as well. They look cool but probably not worth the money. The model 01 looks nicer imo

They look kind of cool , but I don't think I could throw them. To much grip , think they stick to my fingers. As I always say Thank God for three darts. Good luck with your surgery, hope for a quick recovery

Definitely a barrel that requires a very gentle touch. These things stick to the fingers. Based on my warm ups I was shocked how they flew when I hit record.

Bought a set February last year started losing grip and wearing in months after 11months can no longer use as no grip total waste of money target just say wear and tear wouldn't recommend

Compare these darts to ANY other dart of similar weight and the dimension are much larger on this set. No, I'm not buying that these are 90% tungsten. They feel hollow like
