I've switched to ted hankys 14g darts and im much more accurate with them.you've got to try a range of weights to get your perfect darts.Im getting a lot more 180s due to less deflections ,but I'm slightly worst on the doubles due to less deflections.swings and rounderbouts i suppose.
yes its good to try a few styles and weights, also some may be lighter but if the barrel is shorter or more front weighted they can feel about the same as a heavier longer dart, I remember years ago I had 27g darts which I used a lot. I tried some 19g Manley and was hopeless on trebles but strangely they worked great for doubles lol?
+ryan waterman I see, well been a long time since I re-pointed some but at a guess I would imagine there would be more than 2mm inserted into the nose of the barrel but I would not have expected it to be as much as 6mm either, I will try to find out for you :)
