Reparations is not simply a Moral Issue. It is economic and legal issue. Over $20 Trillion Dollars in labor and wages were stolen from the black community during slavery alone. That is the wealth that America is built on, and it is the wealth that attracted and attracts immigrants to this country to benefit from the America that our ancestors built. Reparations are well over due and we are here to collect on a bill that must be paid in full. Its no way around this.

Instead of giving the slaves their due the American government imported whites from Europe, gave them land, taught them how to farm that land, and gave them funding to farm that land. What was meant for Black Americans, was given to Europeans. Black Americans certainly do have a claim to reparations and a right to fight for what is rightfully theirs.

A very significant point the interviewer made was that he’s personally over reparations and he hadn’t dug that deep to know if he was a descendant of slaves though he’s a black man. His point is why a distinction is being drawn between descendants of slaves and black peoples of other countries. Though we are all black peoples not all black peoples blood sweat and tears are tied to this country. This man had an opinion on something he didn’t even understand. Unless folks are going “dig deep” and educate themselves and stand with us on the issue than they should respectfully step aside.

Once this passes nation wide other groups can't use the lineage. Affirmative action and other benefits cant go to women, lgbw, migrants and other groups once there is federal specificity. This is very important: there's a different between a "minority", "person of color", and someone who is ADOS.
