One thing that could definitely make an impact is more Foundational Black Americans need to run for public office. Are we guaranteed a seat? No but if change is that important to us we need not only be heard on social media & at protest. We need to get ourselves in these offices, on these communities and as well as law enforcement on all levels!

It won't work for those who are still slave minded and want to be glorified vassals and pets of the dominant white society. But for the rest of us, we are the most educated and advanced group of Black people on the planet. We have examples of us doing this. Post Reconstruction we had communities that were self governing. We didn't turn to drunks. We were dignified people who.sent reps to Congress and built towns. The only thing we don't have is unity. We too busy running around trying to attach ourselves to Republicans and Democrats.
We should have lawsuits against these people flying from everywhere demanding compensation restorative justice and city council seats reseated by Black Americans and straightened out the redistricting.
So, I’m from Los Angeles born and raised. I first learned of what racism was after experiencing from the Mexicans in the area that I grew up. And tho growing up, was shown love from some Mexicans, that doesn’t negate the fact that many of those that show love are racist and practice racism to some degree. Unfortunately, nothing about this leaked conversation surprises me at all, and its to no wonder the conditions for blacks in California continue to worsen, from housing, to education, to jobs to police brutality ( by Latino law enforcement officers) to lack of social, healthcare, and financial resources.

Mexicans were in the West before blacks were imported from the South. So in reality, the West was always and will always be Latino. Blacks need to move to the South to gain some real political party and control a big chunk of areas. Over 75% of the West is Latino 🤷🏽♀️
