Taro | Why Does Your Elephant Ear Have Yellow/Burnt edges? Diagnosing and Treating Taro Plants. 

I’m not 😭 in my experience this does not happen when urea nitrogen is used. Usually urea nitrogen makes taro go black, not burnt leaves with yellowing going into the midrib. I believe it’s a deficiency due to the fact im growing in only peat and perlite.
