Loved this movie and thought that Taron Egerton did a fabulous job in the role! This is definitely a "pick me up" type movie where you walk out feeling good about things. The real ski jumper that the story is based on is actually named Michael and he has said his glasses fogged up so much during the jumps that he couldn't even see where he landed sometimes. Talk about bravery!!!

Jonathan Ross is a joke! He's not good looking himself and we'll if he can ski! Seeing all clips of Eddie and he seems like such a nice guy and his message of never giving up is inspiring. Hate to see people rip on a good guy.

I just learned that Eddie the Eagle is some kinda joke to some british people and it's a shame because Taron obviously knows better than anyone in that studio how to respect a person and value Eddie's life and effort.

I know Johnathons job is to be funny, but Eddy Edwards the Eagle was / is a genuine character and he and characters like him makes this country amazing.

Eddie the Eagle will still be famous in 50 years. I watched this video one minute ago and have already forgotten the name of the host.

I can see how Taron is not comfortable with how the host and audience is laughing at the legends' appearance. That's just mean. Taron even defended Eddie by saying "Eddie is a good looking guy" maybe hoping jonathan ross realizes what he was doing.

Half way through watching the movie, I thought that Eddie looked like a mix of Josh Hutcherson and "the guy from The Kingsmen," then I looked him up and he's now my favourite actor!!! The Kingsmen and Eddie the Eagle was AMAZING!!!!

He’s a talented actor!!! Also Taron looks so young for his age, he could still play a teenager in 2020!

Don't listen to Ross here... Go see Eddie the Eagle... it's the best movie I have seen in a very very long time!!!!! And yes, Taron is pure gold!!!!!! :D

Had no idea that was him in Eddie the Eagle. I've only seen one of Taren's movies so I didn't know his face that well, just remember him being so attractive. Funny, I did think that his character in Eddie the Eagle, was kind of attractive. I'm like, if he'd just stop making that face, he would be nice looking, and it was him! LOL

Jonathan Ross should do some research into the lives of the people he talks about. If he had research the life Eddie "the Eagle" Edwards he would have realised the he was an outstanding role model for our society, unlike Ross who seems to need to put others down in order to feel good about himself. Jonathan Ross takes the piss but in reality he took the piss out of himself for being one of the few who put Eddie down. Besides the fact he acted like a tossa I bet if you looked at the viewer numbers for that olympic games in 88 they would have been through the roof and for no other reason than Eddie who had the support and hopes of the British nation behind him! Loved the move and the memories!! :-) Long live Eddie....Jonathan who???
