For the giveaway. I really liked the within without advice spread. It’s something that I can use quickly because most days I don’t have the time to contemplate more than 3 cards in a reading.

Hi, I freakin love this series. Thank you. The 3 gifts exercise, I had to pause and say the poem, the writing in the journal and your voice over? Cinematic level of growth on the screen, if it was in black n white with a cigarette burning in an ashtray and boom. I was involved. Your set up, subject and edits, so cool. Hi there! I would love to be entering the giveaway for the Black edition of the Children of Litha Tarot :). I found every spreads/exercises really interesting, but if I had to pick a favourite, i will go for the "three gifts" exercise. It feels like a really good way to get into the deep meaning of the major arcana and get away from the stereotypes of the "good cards" and the "bad cards", as this exercise is inviting you to focus on the gifts you can get out of them. Depending on your ernegy in the moment, it can be a real nice shift of perspective. I will try it out myself very soon. Thanks for the great content! I just discovered your channel and i love it. This was such a beautiful video! I absolutely adored hearing the meanings you pulled from each of your readings, that deck interview was pure magic with the Moon and Sun cards, it gave me chills. The Within Without spread is so quick and simple, I plan to use it often. But I cried during the Anxious Summer spread-I’ve been going through a similar situation, and that reading felt like it was speaking to me. And the 3 of Pentacles card, when you asked about who is holding the reins?-that was a gut punch, exactly how my husband and I are feeling right now with our jobs & life, working so hard to pull our load, but ultimately someone else is controlling the reins and controlling where we can (and can’t go)-that’s what came through for my life right now, and that I don’t want someone else to have so much control over us. I loved this Tarot in practice video and hope you will do more - had previously watched more your discussions of mental health representation (and deck collection videos). The hard work you put in shows, and good on you for really thinking about what you feel comfortable sharing. Would love to enter the giveaway, the deck is modern and vibrant but also has a sort of Art Nouveau aesthetic which I love. I particularly enjoyed the journaling prompt exercise as a way of going deeper into thoughts about one card. The anxiety spread is a (close) second.

The spread that really spoke to me was the anxiety spread; as a person who has a huge problem with ruminating, worrying, getting loopy and being in my own head a lot (mostly due to past trauma), I feel like spreads that help deal with anxiety and giving me some clarity and poking right through the muddy waters of my mind -- while at the same time giving me some helpful pointers on what to confront and what is really behind all that anxiety -- is useful.

Hi, I have this deck and love the rose petal finish but it is difficult to shuffle. I enjoyed your interview spread, it helped me interpret the cards in a different way as I’m still learning. I have a hard time with spreads because I often don’t understand how to relate it to the position with what the cards mean. Putting a story to the cards I find the hardest. Hi Katey 👋.... "Tarot in practice" is such a great series, it makes me want to create a video diary as I've never been great at keeping a written one 😆. I'd like to be entered in the giveaway as I have been thinking of this deck since you 1st showed it (even wrote the name on a sticky pad at work and I look at it everyday); and today my fave was the interview spread because I feel like I connected in a way to this deck. Honestly, it made me feel like this deck and it's wisdom are ancient, possibly other worldly, and for some reason I resonated with that energy I was picking up through the screen. As I sit here at my desk today at work, I feel "out of place", tht deck almost felt homey. I am only reopening the tarot box after being overwhelmed with my own fears over a decade ago. I am loving everything that has come along with my journey. I have really dug into the "hunt" for the decks that really connect to me, internet making it easy to preview but overwhelming too. Gotta reel it in and really see the deck that has it all for you... You Katey, have been a very positive influence and a pleasure to watch. So firstly, thank you for being wonderful and working so hard. Comment about deck interview- I think the tower card interpretation could be that the deck’s weakness is that it can create tower moments by forcing to go deep in the issue.

To have a look over your shoulder, while you try out these spreads, really helps🙏🏼 The anxious summer spread really helped me calm down a bit about reading for myself. It’s fine to not sit half an hour with each card. It’s fine that there’s not a huge ritual when I take out the cards. The spread doesn’t have to look like the depiction in the book. It Can just be what it is, and the reading can still be very impactfull. Thank you🙌🏼

Ahhh this deck has been on my list for years! When I finally was ready to get it was during the pandemic and they weren't shipping to the uk at the time. I have been looking recently and I think they do now though, which is a relief. So interesting how you noticed that the deck was really bringing up those personal struggles you mentioned; I often find those decks challenging but so powerful and supportive for moving through difficulties of life.
