This deck is very beautiful, lovely artwork and interpretations. Though it feels very female-oriented, with most of the male cards having a feminine version to replace them if you so choose.
This deck is marvellous. With all the ethereal imagery, beautiful and intelligent symbolising, the inclusion of various cultural depictions; made it even lovelier. Can't wait to get my hands on this one 😭😭💜💜💜
This deck checks all my boxes and then some. I'm definitely a deck snob. Just the fact that I didn't cringe or question one card amazes me. Its at the top of my gotta have decks for 2021!! I would love an in-depth deep dive video by card. ❤
Mine didn’t get here yesterday! So I’m just getting a chance to relax and the first thing I’m doing is watching this!!!! I can not wait to get it!!!! Should be here tomorrow. That’s what I love about art that is different... for intuitive readers, we get to really dive deeper into the messages we are getting and this deck DEFINITELY does that!!!
OMG 😍 I want! I want! I’ve always thought that was Adam touching fingers with God, and also the Queen of Cups looks like Botticelli’s Birth of Venus. Anyway, Happy New Year, TO!! 🥳🥳🥳
I preordered this via Amazon months ago and I'm told it won't be arriving until February - guess I should have ordered from US Games. I can't wait for this one -- it's incredible!
This deck is gorgeous. But there's like... 3 POC out of 83 cards? As a poc, I find that feeling of exclusion really affects my bonding with a deck. Do you ever find yourself having to reconcile this as well? Genuinely asking, because the underrepresentation is so rampant I feel like I pass on so many decks because of it smh
@@ikalesunflower of course. That's really all there is at this point 🤷🏾♀️ lol. Just wish more artists had more room for other skin tones in their imaginations. Thank you for replying 🙏🏽
@@milla4931 I think artists draw from people in their environment and if they don't live in multi culture communities or have POC as friends it will not show in their work. And id rather have an authentic deck than a deck that was created to please people. When I first started reading tarot their was no decks on the market with people of colour, so I can see and appreciate the progress 🤎🙏🏾
@@ikalesunflower You're speaking a lot of truth. You can tell a lot of decks "try too hard". I'm lucky to live in a place where representation and diversity comes naturally, so the absence of it always strikes me differently. It's hard as an artist in these times. But that being said, I'd prefer a deck have zero POC than a laughably small amount. We aren't tokens. Like don't half ass it just to say it was done lol
Juste magnifique...bientôt en vente en France...j'ai hâte...quel plaisir de pouvoir voir les cartes avant...juste le temps de m'en imprégner d'avantage...Un grand merci pour cette belle présentation 😉🌈
I'd love to see a side by side comparison once you get the Dreemkeepers Tarot! Cause I have that one and am in doubt about whether I want this one as well.
I googled this to see if they have double court cards in the regular deck because I thought I was buying this I bought the pocket size deck and it has double cards in the court cards and major Arcana smh
Mr Chatty man, this is such a beautiful deck, I must prefer it when give a commentary! 👍😊 I call you Mr Chatty man because I think you are extremely entertaining and good at talking 😃 please never take offence to this, I say it as a compliment, not everyone has the gift of the gab 🙂
I love this deck! The pictures are Amazing!! But after purchase, I decided it was not the deck for me and RETURNED it. It has a strong feminist feel to it which (as a female) is not for me. I like the "balance" of male/female energy. The cards are really big and hard to shuffle and I have long fingers. The biggest problem is it is very hard to provide a good reading. A good tarot deck should capture (no matter how weird) the meanings without me having to look at the "card title". For some cards, it is obvious from the photo what the card represents but for most of them, they are way off. I also do not understand why she put "female kings" but not "male queens". I have more "men queens" in my life than the latter. LOL! I think she is also catering to "those" who hold this ideology of *needing* "people of color" in their decks. That is inserted in a forceful way without any depth or reasoning behind it except to cater to a political ideology of "today's" society. Not sure how this will age as our society evolve to higher states of consciousness. That ideology is a "lower conscious" of a limited belief system. I have decks with people of other ethnicities but it was done in a meaningful way that fits within the context of the suits (ex: Tarot of Ages).
Thanks for the flip through. But wow - do we just not include males in decks anymore? Nothing subtle about the sexism here which is a shame because the art is beautiful.
