I absolutely love that you show your pores! A lot of youtubers blur out their skin even in foundation reviews. Seeing blurred pores doesn't give me an idea of what my face will actually look like! Subscribing!

I gotta tell you, before I stumbled on your vids, I had given up hope on finding makeup that was good for my very pale acne-prone skin. I always ended up looking like an umpa. Even when I went to the various makeup stores they always suggested these darker yellowish tones that looked mega fake on me. Thank you for all you do for us pale princesses! 🤗

we have the same skin! it's hard because so many people on youtube don't have skin like ours. love that your doing this! helps me weed things out. I'm going to be starting accutane in thr next few months. my acne is just damaging my skin so bad. I have horrible deep ice pick scars. My skin texture is just so bad I don't know what else to do. This foundation looks great on you and I think I'm going to try it!

Moisturizer is your friend on accutane. It will also keep your scars supple so they could be improved later with microdermabrasion or other treatments. I wish you luck! Please tell me you had your hormones tested first to see if it could be fixed more gently? I had to stop after a single day on Accutane because it gave me medication - induced hepatitis. Gone now but it's a strong drug. A combo of Androcur and birth control pill may work instead, if it's hormones, or many take Spironolactone Good luck! I know the struggle! Heal fast! Hugs. 🇨🇦❤️🇨🇦

I really like that she uses a variety of affordable and pricey makeup and is completely truthful with her reviews. I also love the fact that she has skin that isnt totally perfect so you know that the products she likes will work for people that dont have perfect skin.

Rainforest of the sea has literally changed the appearance of my makeup and I'm now a full Tarte convert! I've never had so many people compliment my skin, and I definitely have pigmentation and period breakouts. My skin is combination/leaning towards oily and with the Too Faced Hangover RX coconut primer it looks naturally glowy and flawless. It even survived a hot hike up the local peak! (I always put my makeup to a workout test)

This is probably my favorite foundation ever. It's a toss up between Rainforest of the Sea, and Maybellines BB Cream with salacylic acid. I've always gravitated toward a lighter sheer coverage, just because my skin has never needed full. It's phenomenal.

I tried this out at Sephora the other day and fell in love. I bought it right away and it's amazing. I have combination skin and it gives me a dewy look where I need it and doesn't break up on my nose which is mostly oil and a little dry skin.

I unfortunately just returned that one today! I was super sad about it but for the price point it just didn't hold up to the claim of keeping me matte during hot/humid weather (and I work indoors). The coverage wasn't there and I was shiny by lunchtime :( I would love her review and thoughts on it as well!

hey I have used the hourglass immaculate foundation for over a year now. I have breakouts and acne prone skin. It has never cause me any problems and it is full coverage. It might be expensive so if you're unsure get the travel kit size first but you can return it if you don't like it. This is one of the safest and gentle foundation on acne prone skin but at the same time providing full coverage. However, you should moisturize well if you have dry skin and unless you're super oily otherwise powder is really optional.

OMG I almost forgot about that! I'm as pale as they get as far as foundations go and my correct shade was actually the 3rd one in the line. "Vanilla". The "Porcelain" and "Pearl" shades which are the first two were so warm and yellow! The way they present/name their shades can be quite confusing.

I have oily skin and I absolutely LOVE this foundation. It's definitely my holy grail. I wear it with the Benefit Matte Rescue primer and always set it with a powder and it lasts forever without getting shiny. Highly recommend!

I have uneven skin texture and dark marks from years of acne and seeing someone without perfect skin review foundations is absolutely 1000x more helpful than all these gurus with wonderful skin (no hate to them but I feel like you can give better reviews of how coverage is, how it makes texture look, etc)

I've tried that one. the colors run quite dark so I don't think extra pale folks will have luck finding shades. it's also extremely dewy, like next level even for a serum. I have dry skin and looked like a total grease ball

I have super dry skin and dont like it either. It's not hydrating in my opinion. Also, once it touches my skin it dries down almost immediately so I have to work super fast to blend it.

I love this foundation so much, its a good coverage, and very natural! Some of my friends/coworkers didn't even notice i was wearing anything until I pointed it out. The colour Fair Beige is my exact match. Because you often mention it when comparing shade colours and it looks very light, When I went to sephora looking for my first high end foundation and I asked about this foundation. It's so perfect for me!

Ugh, I know. I have combo/oily skin and I use the Marc Jacobs Re(marc)able foundation (Taylor has a review on it), powder it, and use Urban Decay's Deslick oil control spray. I can get a solid 8 hrs out of it, and with blotting I can get another 2-3 hours easily. To make it last even longer, you can use the NYX primer base spray before moisturizer and the Neutrogena Shine Control Primer as well. I hope you find a solution that works for you! :)

I use Revlon ColorStay or Missha BB cream, powder with Coty airspun, and it lasts through a 12 hour nursing shift with two one-hour drives.

I watched 15 days of foundation last year when studying for 1 bar. Now studying for another state and RU-vid recommends I watch this :) Love it, helps me realize that it will be over soon and I can then focus on the important things, e.g., makeup!!!!

how does this compare to esteem lauder DW foundation? I love the esteem lauder one because it controls my oil and it doesn't transfer

LOVE this foundation! It looks stunning on you. And even though our skin types are completely different, I love the way it makes my skin look too. Tarte did a great job with this one, I hope it sticks around.

I can see why this is one of your favorites. It has good coverage on you and doesn't look thick and cakey. It looks like it just melds into your natural skin, instead of looking masky.
