[TAS] DBZ B3 - Mecha Frieza (full moveset) vs Omega Shenron

This is a Tool Assisted Superplay of Dragon Ball Z Budokai 3 (Collector's Edition), a match between Mecha Frieza/Freezer versus Omega Shenron.

I used Cheat Engine to "force" the game into equipping more than the normal amount of capsules. Frieza had:
* Breakthrough
* Frieza's Space Ship
* Turtle Shell
* Overtension
* Breathing Room Of The Strongest
* Universal Ambition (x2)
Omega Shenron had:
* Breakthrough
* Senzu bean
* Dende's Recovery
As you can see, CE allows you to equip 7 capsules, no matter how many slots they take. Also, you can give ANY ability to any character, even ones that normally they can't equip.
This of course opens room to a new way of playing the game, that I'll explore further in the next weeks. Feel free to give any suggestion.

Great video. I've never played as Frieza that much so all of these combos are new to me, but I did miss his ridiculous battle cries like *KEY*

My only issue with the Dragon Rush with Frieza. He's barely taped back together and here he goes _headbutting_ Shenron, when like half of his head was sewn back together

Ah see things like this were great to mess with! I remember there was a code that allowed capsules to take 1 slot. So you actually could equip Breakthrough and Frieza's Spaceship WITH a Senzu bean. It was stacked.

It would take like HOURS, because an opponent with 300% Def takes 1 single point of damage for every hit, so I'd have to hit him literally 7000 times to beat him. That's just too much.

Still kinda confused on what we were supposed to see in th picture but nice video. Messing with the limited capsule system must make Budokai 3 crazy to play.

Exactly that: in B3, you can't equip both "Breakthrough" and "Frieza's Space Ship", so if you wanna use Mecha Frieza you can only use Death Beam/Wave, but you'll never be able to equip Death Ball. Seeing Mecha Frieza using Death Ball it's kinda incredible.

@@Dr._Doppietta I was wondering what was wrong when you posted that image, I assumed there was nothing wrong because you were playing Infinite World. I forgot B3 didn't allow Mecha Frieza to have Death Ball.

To get this map. Go to Dueling and when you have to select a map. Go to the "Urban Area" but instead of selecting with cross do it with circle... Selecting maps like this, you will get the Destroyed version istead of the normal one

Thinking even stupider why did they make Frieza have ssj2 stats in 100% and SSj3 stats in mecha that’s “kinda” op

@@markmcgehee3864 I don't know why your comment doesn't show up, but I saw it in my notifications so I can replay. You're wrong. Omega Shenron is actually the third best character in the game, under Goku and Cell. Its Base Ki line isn't the only thing to judge a character for, he has a lot of good cancels, stuns, charged attacks and armor frames. Not to mention his Dragon Thunder ability to be delayed and inserted into a combo. His Defense going down gives him a little more damage than usual that is neglectible during a fight. Expecially counting that he has MAX Ki baseline starting right off the bat and his Ki goes costantly up. Answering to your second question, Frieza has 120% Atk in his 100% AND Mecha form, his spaceship doesn't give him more Atk (same goes for Cooler). While it's obv wrong he has more Atk than a SSj2, but still not as much as SSj3, this happens for programming reason, since every transformation cannot give anything less than +5% Atk, so 4 transformations must give you at the very least +20% Atk.

Dr. Doppietta you can actually land dragon thunder? I have never seen a ai accomplish that lol Other things to note is that 120% IS the SSj3 power boost, I literally used practice mode to see that... Specifically kaioken is 105 ssj is 110 ssj2 is 115 and SSj3 is 120 while 2nd form is 105 third is 110 final is 115 and max is 120 while cooler just goes 115 in his final Plus Goku... eh Like don’t get me wrong Goku’s ultimate in kaioken or base while SSJ is equipped is great... if you offense win, you can only do that once and dragon fist is terrible, same damage as any other ult but defense can go Scott free, on the other hand x10 kamehamha does the same damage as vegeta’s final shine but is inexplicably way slower to the point I have punished goku’s using x10 nearly half a second after they tried firing and still hit them instead of clashing. I guess starting with max ki is decent though, wirldwind could be a useful weapon

@@markmcgehee3864 Yes. CPU is just stupid, expecially in B3. I don't know why out datas don't match: I see in training mode that SSj3 has 25% Atk boost and Cooler 20%. Maybe you're playing B3 GH. Whilrwind Spin is one of the most damaging Supers of the game, 450dmg while normally attacks like that deal 375dmg. It's pretty good, expecially if you mix it up with the Dragon Thunder delay.

Dr. Doppietta Gh? Would that be the the Budokai 3 Hd collection? It would be rather stupid if all of my stats were different just because I play on the remaster lol Hell, nothing that damage you listed, 425, isn’t that insanely low Like starter level Kamehameha or is that like per hit or something,
