Back in the day when I first bought this game I knew how amazing it was. I was so impressed by the level of characters to choose from and the fact that the characters had ALL of their transformations. Literally all of them. The attention to detail in this game was amazing. No more sidescroller fighting either. Total freedom and in depth fighting controls. You didn't have to just memorize lengthy combos through repetition like other fighting games, you had freeflow freedom. The fact that this hasn't been recreated since is a testament of how well done this game was. Extremely ahead of its time. Seemingly decades ahead...

can we take the time to admire how beautiful this looks like damn very thing is so crystal clear and smooth,also that part in 1:02 where one of the blast miss and destroy that cliff,modern dbz games wish that they had this level of destructibility

I always liked the fact that you can power down from your transformation.

Trunks calls Vegeta a loser. Vegeta gives him the parenting of a lifetime. Vegeta feels so conflicted his emotions split him into two beings to resolve his anguish. Vegeta believing himself to be the greatest parent ever parents Gohan. Goku hearing about Gohan being parented then rushes to the scene only to be parented by Vegeta.

You're really good at making these fights look very entertaining and stylish, especially with all the transformations, clashes, teleportations (or rather dodges) and ki-ball reflections. Awesome stuff. And the 60fps make it a double dip. Thanks for these videos man, they bring back so many memories.

what i love the most is how all the ki energy attacks look. they have never looked better even if its inferior graphics. they captured what they should look like in a 3d media perfectly to this day i think this is how ki would look like irl. And on top of that they even made each signature ki attack from each character look unique like the big bang attack which i always thought was a bland looking attack, just a ki ball but this game makes it look different and unique somehow. Best dbz fighting game of all time

The dashs, combos, teleport back, the fact that u can parry ki blasts back and fly fleely, the transformations, enviroment destruction, insane how the atention to detail makes it the greatest dragon ball game of all time, it's crazy we don't get anything like that in 15 years, imagine this with ps5 graphics and new mecanics, the same roster etc

Seeing vegeta's hair change from base to super saiyan, despite how subtle of a change it is, made me so happy yet sad at the same time. Happy because this game has such an attention to detail and a whole lot of love behind it, and sad because we've never gotten a dragonball game with that attention to detail ever since.

Finally a video where someone KNOWS how to play Tenkaichi. This game wasn't extremely complex, but you could have some really insane fights when both players know how all the combat features.
