I’ll be honest, I didn’t know there was a hidden star block at 1:02 until I watched this video. And NSMBDS is my favorite 2D platformer mainly because of how influential it was to me.

I don't know why this has got so many thumbs down. I guess the 2000 or so don't know what a TAS is. THERE IS A DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A TAS AND A SPEEDRUN. Anyway, I really want to acknowledge the amount of effort that would have been put into this. It would have taken AGES to do (Research the levels, find how to get the highest speed using enemies, invisible stars etc.) As you can also see, the rerecord count gets into the 100 THOUSANDS. Well done to Adelikat, Terrortim, Mindnomad and Y05H1.
