the first one was to save in-game time with the cycles at the start, and it's also faster to restart the stage than have to go all the way back up top from the generator
You know, I always wondered if you could still get the Good Ending without having to collect the Time Stones, but was too nervous to try it (some other game did that to me, but I forget which one). Now I know! Cool run 😎
