Man, I just love the Statue stage in this game. I wish it came back somehow. I know we have Tekken Jukebox, but having the arcade soundtracks from Tekken 1 and 2 play at random was a brilliant idea.
What do you mean, Violet got a pure walloping. That stage is meaty and would later set the bench mark for all Tekken games onwards (lack of imaginative levels lol)
Tekken 4 had the best wall game. The side splat led to some unbelievably creative combos. Using side wall splats effectively was very difficult (except for Arena stage) so it balanced out. You could also tech out of low wall splats. Namco should use some of these ideas in the next game.
Funny thing is that if you actually grew up with Tekken 4, you know Steve players could almost 100% play like this TAS, even better sometimes. Steve was the most broken player in all of T4.
I was never able to play Tekken 4 , but watching this speedrun i saw some maps and even music is or similar or the same like in Urban Reign beat em up game which i loved
Yeah I noticed this too, I've got the PAL version of the game and Steve says his lines differently, he says "What a Joke" in a slower manner compared to the pal version, it almost sounds like an non British person doing a British accent.
No. Its before 5 and 5DR. They did a borderline overhaul of voice acting in the game from 5 & 5DR. Thats when they gave steve a more British Accent in the series.
Tekken 4, even with the weird shenanigans I regard you fondly, certainly better than five and six. Ironic that my favorite character in the series (Dragunov) has only been in the Tekken games I find least impressive in terms of story telling.
i just need to know one thing....how long did it take you to get this good at tekken freaking 4!?? salute tho im definitely enjoying looking through these.
Why does tekken 1 music ply when he fights nina I played his playthrough for the first time a week ago and it unexpectedly started playing kyoto, japan from tekken 1
