I remember being about 7 years old and my dad and I took a trip to Best buy there he said I could pick out any game I wanted and I picked tekken 1 I fell in love with the game and even though we were pretty much poor every time a new sequel came out he'd buy it for me on my birthday My dad passed away 4 months ago from cancer and even though he is gone I'll never forget the trip thank you dad
MrGatsu1998 Another on a Paul video pointed it out but there’s a theory that because of how badly people reacted to Tekken 4 (when it was actually really good imo), they started going to a more goofy route since they probably thought people didn’t like the dark and serious tone of Tekken 4. Just a theory of course
Paul was so unlucky in Tekken 1-4 because he lost to kaz In 1 didn't make it to his fight with heihachi in 2 beat the first form of ogre but not in his second form then jin beat him. He's always so close
@@Someblindfool sana göre sen PS4 mü yoksa ps5 mi kullanıyorsun ama bu sözümü asla unutma o şuan da ağzı açık izlediğin oyunlar bu oyunların sayesin de ortaya çıktı
In the first Tekken, the main 8 characters each had a sub boss, which were basically clones with the same recycled moveset except for a few exclusive moves. They also recycled voices. They were unplayable characters in the arcade version. It was probably also to save time & money, and programming limitations at that time
You have to give this game credit: the backgrounds were quite awesome and lot superior than the one dimensional wallpaper areas from Tekken 2 (here at least are layered).
I’m sure originally Paul was supposed to be revealed as Kazuya’s half brother (like Lars is now) because he has almost identical clothes to Heihachi, large eyebrows, a crazy haircut like all the Mishimas, and Tekken 1 Heihachi has Kazuya’s and Paul’s moves combined + Paul was supposed to be Kaz’s rival in combat. But they probably abandoned the idea after Tekken 2
Paul's voice changed a lot. I think it's worth noting that Kazuya's face is on the wall, and that all sub bosses are based on a rival or something like that, and then Paul has to fight a frickin' bear. Why a bear? Why always matched with Kuma?
No Paul wouldn’t of won the rematch, with Kazuya in Tekken 1 actual tournament. Since they had a draw outside of the tournament. Then in the actual Tournament Paul, thinks his rematch is going to be a win, with Kazuya, and then Paul surprised and in shock, since Paul gets tossed like a rag doll by Kazuya, in the actual tournament, in Tekken 1.
