Taskmaster 7x8 REACTION - Rhod wins the Creepy Prize Task, what a shock!

James' "is that a boulder, or is it just a really big rock" may well be a reference to Series 1, where something similar is said about the Styrofoam boulder they need to take as far away from the house as possible. I don't think it's been confirmed though.

i have to say, i absolutely adore the running joke that the ghost of sally phillips is haunting the taskmaster set and possessing the contestants to harass alex. it's such a perfect explanation.

I watched the Swedish version of Taskmaster first, and the last I remember happening on that show's most recent series is a contestant losing a tooth and bleeding all over a bathtub. That was dedication.

this is the episode where Rhod achieved Legendary stats.

I love this episode a lot. I've already told you about my love for Phil's Newcastle joke but the whole Creepiest Thing prize task is one of the strongest ones across all the series. The grotto task isn't one of my favourites but James' "Pants on a stick" and the reveal of Greg's leash on Alex are great moments. The scream task is a fun one. The music one is great too. I think the matchgirl song is one of my favourite things Rhod did on the show besides maybe his Creepiest Thing, and his attempt at the last recorded task in Ep10. The live task is a fun one too, I just wish it went on longer. Definitely a really solid episode overall, definitely justifies S7 as being one of if not the best series of the show.

happy to know my norwegian taskmaster comments are getting to you loll , its a really good show and no one reacts to it so thats why im a lil crazy with the comments but rhods prize task here is so genius its def my top 5 fav of every version ive seen (no,nz,au,uk,us and some of fn,se,dk)

the one thing i think is odd that no one has pointed out (that i can see) is that any none native brit seems to care about the scoring system. i feel as a brit you instantly ignore any kind of scoring/competitiveness in these programmes. it'd be like remembering what team won an episode of mock the week, the competitiveness is just a very thin satirical point not intended to have any meaning. in short no brit cares about the score or the winner, just the laughs along the way.

Definitely one of my favourite series of the show. They definitely get better and better as they hone the structure. Bob Holness used to host a show called Blockbusters back in the 80s to early 90s

The most shocking thing from the "Grotto" task was finding out that Wang actually was wearing underwear underneath his outfit. XD

I was going to mention the Norwegian and Finnish editions of Taskmaster. I've only been a few of the episodes, but it seems that the concept of health and safety doesn't exist in their countries! 😂 They did so many things that just wouldn't be allowed in the UK show. Also, the not blinking task that Rhod won in the UK show, was incredible in the Norwegian show. I won't tell you the outcome in case you watch it.

Norweigan Taskmaster is incredible. Definite worth a watch. There is one thing that I didn't like though.... Of course, no spoilers - We'll just have to wait till you watch it

i would like to STRONGLY agree with th epeople who suggest taskmaster norway..kongen befaler is great, the taskmaster itself is not the best but also not the worst (looking at you new zealand) but the contestants are great and if you come from british taskmaster...strangly competent :P PS: TEAM MARIA!
