In case anyone is wondering... "任务" = task "师父" = master I'm not sure that "任务师父" is a good translation of "Taskmaster", tho. A lot of Chinese speakers call the show "模仿大师", but they also use this for the Marvel character.
Such a godsend my guy--ad breaks and Greg's what have we learned today! (Greg's mum is a slag) I still can't imagine the reasoning behind cutting those bits out on the TM channel smh.
I always *kinda* liked Babatunde in the few things I've seen him in prior to TM, I wasn't overly enthused but he seemed pretty ok. But the "slag" bit was one of the funniest and best-delivered bits i've seen in a long time, I'm a fan now, I can't help it. That was classic.
Someone explain the math of the tie breaker to me If he was born on Christmas Day in 1978, that means he'll be 46 on Christmas in 2024. 46*365 = 16790 + 12 leap days = 16802 How did they come up with 17538?
The answer of how many days old Alex is which Alex gave at the end is wrong. It should be 16,908. Doesn't change the outcome, since Jack didn't even guess, but still.
I got 16,907. He turned 46 on Sept. 10. So that’s 16,790 with standard years. I think there have been 12 leap years since he was born (not sure on that), so 16,802 plus 105 days from his birthday until Christmas. I’m with everyone else I have no idea where they’re getting their number. Edit: I think Ally’s right and there were only 11 leap years. I forget 2000 wasn’t one.
This is curios to me. There are anaerobic bacteria which can metabolize in the absence of oxygen. I think it's not about what couldn't get in. I suspect the buildup of CO2 stopped fermentation because it couldn't get out. This took place before enough aromatic byproducts for fermentation could build up to be noticeable.
Bacteria are everywhere. Keeping the bacteria out is very hard. So there were bacteria in there. But yes, the lack of oxygen would be a factor. Mind you, that would be the same for all the other jars. So hard to say. I offer a hypothesis that the main bacteria that got in were beneficial bacteria like the ones we have in our gut. Or lactobacillis which is one of the ones that create yoghurt. And those were predominant and edged out other bacteria that were in there. Until the entire system ran out of oxygen and all the bacteria died.
The Taskmaster house is right below the eastern approach to Heathrow airport, so there are planes every minute or so. Plenty of opportunity to rig a camera to shoot the sky and then just use that sky imagery masked into the regular shot. With a mask, you can play either part forwards or backwards independent of the other.
I am glad Emma won because then by the later stages of the series we don’t have to worry about someone not winning an episode. I always feel bad for the contestants that happens to (with the exception of Frankie Boyle who didn’t want to win an episode),
The official TM channel will have this in a day. I know it's hard to wait, but better to support the creators, especially when they're willing to give it to you for free
@@emuman09 she’s definitely made me laugh when I’ve understood! At times I’ll even rewind and give it a few listens, but it would have been simple for them to add captions without it being insulting towards her and her disability.
I was in the same boat but if u hold the screen (if you're on a phone) while she speaks it speeds the footage up twice as fast and makes it really easy to understand her
Raw chicken and milk in a Mason jar is a stink bomb with a timer...the gases build up and explode the jar, if you send one to someone you love, time it so it blows up on their front porch...lol
Andy said it all, "found himself getting irritated in earlier shows", they are all irritated for being forced on this show. The body language of the panel is clear. A sad and disappointing season. 😢
