Take a piece of paper and write down 10-15 core elements of your job. Plot them on this graph: all of the elements that give you the energy on one side, on the other those that drain your energy. The time component is the amount of time you spend doing them.

I went back 12 years ago to my role in a Customer Service where my HR journey has started!:) I did not know it back then, but essentially I was job crafting my role so when an opportunity came, I asked if I could move to HR and I was trusted to do so!:)
I believe that job crafting is great for everyone, an with my D&I lenses on, it is specially beneficial to be able to identify our strengths, differences, motivations and consciously making positive changes to our work and those around us.
