MIDI file demonstration of a great song from James Moore Jr. This and many other MIDI performance files are freely available at my website which is www.CatholicChristianMIDI.com. Hope you enjoy.
This is a very special song and memory for me because I learned to sing it under Dr. Moore’s direction. I was privileged to be part of a group made up of choirs from parishes in the Cincinnati Archdiocese that Dr. Moore conducted.
I wish I can keep the taste of of God in my soul, then I won't forget that lord in my mouth whenever I open my mouth to speak. I wish after tasting god body, then my eyes can see everything so beautiful in front of me.
I'd love to hear someone like Billy Joel or Elton John cover it. Very melodic and memorable; it sounds like a Bernie Taupin composition or even something Joel would write himself. This and Be Not Afraid as well.
Taste and see the goodness of the Lord, the goodness of the Lord. Taste and see the goodness of the Lord, the goodness of the Lord. I will bless the Lord at all times. Praise will be on my lips. My soul will glory in the Lord. The poor will hear and be glad. Taste and see the goodness of the Lord, the goodness of the Lord. Taste and see the goodness of the Lord, the goodness of the Lord. I sought the Lord who answered me, delivered me from my fear. Look to God that you might shine with the radiance of God's joy. Taste and see the goodness of the Lord, the goodness of the Lord. Taste and see the goodness of the Lord, the goodness of the Lord. The Lord has eyes for justice, ears to hear your cry. God knows your broken heart. The Lord redeems a loyal servant. Take refuge in your God. Taste and see the goodness of the Lord, the goodness of the Lord. Taste and see the goodness of the Lord, the goodness of the Lord.
Taste and see, taste and see the goodness of the Lord. O taste and see, taste and see the goodness of the Lord, of the Lord. 1. I will bless the Lord at all times. His Praise shall always beyond my lips; my soul shall glory in the Lord for He has been so good to me. (Refrain) 2. Glorify the Lord with me. Together let us all praises name. I called the Lord and He answered me; from all my troubles He set me free. (Refrain) 3. Worship the Lord, all you people. You want for nothing if you ask.Taste and see that God is good; in Him we need put all our trust. (Refrain)
