'Taste of the Caribbean' is a mixology seminar that will be listed on the daily schedule during your Royal Caribbean cruise, but will only take place if at least 10 passengers show up to participate. During a sea day on Adventure of the Seas, we were lucky enough to join a large group for the event. The price was $26 each (plus gratuity). We learned how to make six cocktails, got a sample of each, and then had the opportunity to make (and shake!) one full-sized drink of our own included in the fee. I thought this event was well worth the price, even though I was too shy to go up and dance for a full-sized drink!

Now this is the type of cruise I want to be on.....On Princess at their wine tasting demo you're lucky to get a half teaspoon of wine per glass.....you two sure have a good time partying....I can hardly wait for more.....

Thanks for posting; we sail in less than a month and I was wondering if I should do this. Our last cruise was Disney and they had excellent classes on mixology and one just for mojitos; a good amount of education and 4-5 good size drinks! Looks like this is more of a "fun" and less serious class; I'll probably skip it since we'll have the drink package...

Thank you for watching, I have not sailed with Disney yet but hear wonderful things about the cruise line! I agree with you that it's probably a skip if you have the drink package - you can just order one of each drink at a bar and try them at your own speed! Have a lovely vacation!

@@Sotweetie thank you! I already make some of those drinks at home (I got pretty serious into tiki cocktails after the Disney cruise :) ) so will skip. It is funny that Disney has several different booze classes and RC is fairly limited in that regard! We've done DCL twice and they are superb; we decided to save some money this time and give RC a try, we are definitely looking forward to it!
