US MRE Beef Stew is a legit nostalgia for me. I still think about that stew 25 years after I tried it. My cousin, may he rest in peace, brought some home when he was in the military. I was just a kid and I'm convinced that was the only beef stew I've ever genuinely liked. Also the tiny tobasco bottles, brings me back, and reminds me of him.

Just curious, what do you do with the extra food from these mres? Especially the 24 hour ones. Do you pack them up as leftovers or do you share them with your family off camera?
