as a German i started with that, then the french and thought to myself hey start from the beginning, its good, so i did and as you hold the Merican MRE #7 up i member years ago i got myself one from an army shop (where i get my working pants from) and look and behold it was #7 beef strips just got a few diffs, like Toothsie rools instead of live safers, grape jelly instead of blackberry jam, cranberry grape juice instead of lemonade, cranberry osmosis instead of Chocolate pudding, and somehow my beef strips have an extra package with "Au Gratin Potatoes" XD
I actually had this one in the past year and honestly if you add the salt and trade for some of the jalapeño cheese and mix it in there it makes for a decent meal.

recently found at my local surplus store, mre itailian breadsticks & cornbread. both where made around a year ago. an are very good. oh, i have one of the artic mountainhouse spagetheii mre mains. am waiting to try this with the breadsticks.from your description of the leomade as sugar free, in the single serve packet. try 16 oz water as i believe it is a off the shelf component you can find in multi flavors in the drink / kool-aid isle.

The Zapplesauce is my husband’s favorite “dessert”. He says he will field his MRE’s beforehand and find a MRE apple cake and slather the Zapplesauce on top. He will eat that for his breakfast out in the field. Great review by the way. Intro was excellent. If you are looking for suggestions on people’s favorite and worse US MRE, let me know. I’m sure my husband and son can answer those questions. 😊

I literally just ate this, I'm still working on the lifesavers. My drink wasn't Irish creamcappuccino, it was a tropical drink. I also got matches instead of the drink packet (I'm not sure how the US military thinks these items are interchangable). I'm European, so I was kind of offended by the lack of coffee..... colonial savages! 😂 Other than that, it was very edible. Anyone want to swap matches for coffee?
Interesting, you don't like any of the beefs. IMO the beef strips in any flavor are the best protein in MREs. Ofc ymmv but what meat do you prefer? Ground beef? Chicken? Pork? Beef brisket (sliced or chopped) which is also very good, but they should serve with a bun? The veggie crumbles, heaven forbid?
Geez dude you think with the budget they could give you guys a season packet too. Im not talking extravagant like truffle, Himalayan salt, and saffron, but just like generic Italian seasoning, lemon pepper, chipotle. let you guys season the food to make it better for you. that being said video was great!!!! so would 63/100 equal 3 mustaches out of 5? haha
