As a Panera worker I can say that the toasted bun could easily be done with a brioche breakfast setting for 20 seconds, so they probably just couldn't be bothered to toast it and change settings, but if you specifially ask for it they'll do it and that sandwhich will be way better. The lettuce isn't supposed to be alot, so whoever made the sandwhich probably just threw it on. I'd say that the sandwhich isn't the best, but if someone who put more care into making it had created it then it would have been a bit better. I reccomend doing this again, but asking for the toasted brioche bun just for fun to see what difference it makes. Don't hurt me, but maybe some garlic aioli aswell.

As a former Panera worker, 95% of the items are pre-packaged, so I would not be surprised if the lobster itself was pre-packaged. As of 2017 when I was working there, Mac n Cheese, Soup, and several bakery items were frozen, defrosted, and either put in a hot water bath to bring them up to temp, or proofed (ie Bagels and other sweets) and baked. I mean even the breakfast quiche was frozen. Still looks delicious though! Not 22$ worth, but delicious

While I have my quibbles with using too much mayo and not having any chunks of celery, I have to respect this guy for collecting the fin and leg meat. The latter of which is objectively the best tasting part of the lobster.

I'm calling it now, nick will reach 12 mil by the end of the year, at least 8-9 mil subs before the end of summer ( september 21st)

I see where you're coming from with the lettuce and I usually agree however I've been getting this arugula from a local market and it's soo damn good and peppery I guarantee it would elavate this. Alternatively sansho pepper berries from Japan all the tingles of Sichuan but less spicy and has a shockingly strong citrus/lime taste.

I have an idea for when you do chocolate I know it really isn’t related to this but when you are fermenting them put cinnamon on top to prevent mold and when you are pouring honey of any sticky mixture put oil on the bottom so it does not stick q🙂

I'm shook Nick likes Panera so much cause literally everything except the produce comes in frozen plus the soups and mac come in pre-made and are just re-heated. Source: I worked there for 2 years

To awnser your questions. Its 5.5oz of lobster per sandwich Its claw and knuckle meat The prep is lobster meat mixed with lemon taragon mayo. Yes the lobster is frozen, not fresh.

I've been checking since the spring and Panera hasn't released it in our area. I love their lobster rolls.
