I'm from Malaysia, which is just south of Thailand. Believe me, as a Malaysian, Thai food is something else; delicious, spicy, sweet, some other world deliciousness.

Ive ate the "T" rations many times when I was in the Army. Usually served while large groups of troops are doing training exercise's for extended periods. OR during wartime. When we werent eating MREs in Desert Storm we were lucky enough to get served T rats. ;)

if soldier in training spill that much rice away from the tray, he would get punished LUL and the malicious fact about fish sauce is it is smelly, sometimes it is used as a malicious prank by pour it into the car's window crevice, you need to either ozone treat your car or take apart your car door to get rid of the smell

I have two T rats. Corned beef hash. We did eat the third one a few years ago. It was still good! And delicious.....

Oh you forgot to put the fish sauce on the rice and curry. Would make it even better. 😉
